SnowRanger -> Did I miss the February Role Call? (2/15/2011 10:54:23 PM)

Hello A/all,

I looked back a few pages and I didn't see a "Role Call" for this month. I know that it's already past half over; but, I figured "WTF." It's one of my favorite threads.

I am having a great Winter! I do recognize that that is weird. While everybody else is stocking up, augering in and hunkering down; I can't wait to get out and about. I have not been out EVERY day. I need to dry out my ski boots every so often. Still, all of this snow... Heaven!!!!

On the down side, a cousin and friend of mine died recently. Both were in their early forties which was a surprise. Both succeeded in packing about one hundred years into their forty years of life. I can't help but smile at that. I find it hard to grieve but I will miss them.

Best of all (Yes folks... Better than Snow Ranging!...), I have met a Really Great Domme! I am Flat Stomp Down excited! I'd say more but I get so excited that my fingers start to jumble up.

I hope that every body will check in and update the rest uf us.

Respectfully,
Mike
SnowRanger

Hello Mike! It is good to read of your good news. I cannot say I am enjoying the snow but then again, unless you are into cross country skiing or snow mobiling, there isn't much to actually do with the snow here in Iowa. Annnnnnnnd ours is melting fast at the moment with mud developing rather than the white stuff.

I've just been busy enjoying life. Work, my little side business of photography has picked up unexpectedly and my fun project of an internet gallery for local artists is actually showing some progress...........yay!! Even found a kitschy fun name for it!

It's been two months that I've really been hitting the gym hard and am feeling absolutely faaaaaaabulous. Haven't lost much weight due to my habit of cooking a lot of starchy yummy winter foods and of course EATING them....[:D]..........but am down one clothing size so it's all good. I began taking a yoga-lates class two weeks ago and tried a Zumba class last week. Was going to sign up for the Zumba then wrenched my back the next night. We will see about the Zumba thing...

The family is all doing well. Daughter and crew have discovered the challenges of living in the country during winter.......they wouldn't listen to Mom about the long lane through the woods and voila, 14 inches of snow made life difficult with a mini van. I could do the "I told you so" but she already has and I wouldn't be that mean.......muah ha ha haaaaaa..... My son is back in Peru for a few more months and not loving it but hey, he can work else where if he really hates it. The grands are all spectacular, the boys are anxiously looking forward to motocross as am I. I am just glad I am not responsible for bike hauling this year........as far as I know... And Generic Dude is doing great with his new career. It's gone very smoothly and it is a joy to see him so much happier and dramatically less stressed. He has also been spending more time at the gym and trying to eat better. He's all but given up his beloved Pepsi and now working on lessening the salty junk food.

I had begun visiting with a girl from the other side that seemed to really have promise but the last week, and especially yesterday, seems to have put that idea into the crapper. I am very glad I don't really have too much give a damn about the whole thing any more, and have never had any expectations from internet contacts. I've got too much good stuff going on to get upset about some vision of pixels on a computer screen that is afraid to get beyond it. Whatever the reasons...

Spring is in the air and life is great!!!!

This is also one of my favourite threads - I don't post regularly but browse often and always enjoy the Roll Calls

Here in Ireland Spring has started to appear. My snow drops are up and bulbs are coming on nicely. The lawn is getting green and I am really looking forward to getting everything cleaned up and beds dug over.

This new year has brought some new opportunity - every recession has a silver lining. We have decided that from now on 10% of all our income is going to charity - I would like that to be hands on, direct - not supporting some top heavy charity organisation so we are investigating the best way to do this.

We have had lots of offers of babysitting from friends so are planning on a long weekend excursion - so we may get to take in a club in Europe in the next month.

My new years health kick is going well - dropped 2 dress sizes so am chuffed with that! and my boy is looking leaner and younger also! So added bonus there.

Hope 2011 is treating you all well!

Pandi decided to have her puppies while I was at work tonight ... 3 boys and a girl this time - female looks like she'll be blue, one boy is black & white, and the other two look like they'll be in the chocolate to liver color range. After the week I've had ... I soooooo needed happy, healthy puppies from a happy, healthy dog.

Hrmmmm Hrmmm Hrm....

Well aside from cocks of snakery proportions things have been alright. The microclimate here in the valley produces either really nice days (while the surrounding areas are pounded with snow) or becomes insanely cold.

Certain projects of mine are slowly coming to fruition and soon I will actually get to playtest something. Yay.

My wanderlust is acting up again. I feel the urge to go somewhere new and shiny where there are plenty of more opportunities for a talented and young lad such as my self. The crime rate and light pollution is rather nil out here. Not only can I look up into the tattered and pinpricked robe of nyx I can do so safely. Yet....

I wish to leave and see new things in cities where the mobs throb and mingle. False starlight and an actual scene I can participate in.

Granted things are static here and perhaps I needed that. Still scenery for stilling the mind and the ripples cease.

I shall see.

@There is no time like the present@ yet My present doesn't want to give Me enough time to do everything I want to do!
Still in college, still painting, Started getting Photo Sessions so scheduling and travel have been part of the lack of free time! I've also been testing out a few saucy lads that wish to become a good useful part of My Dimension - giving the List  for them to fill out and then an intro session to see how well we click..
Ive intensified My quest for My helper girl, going public, yup - maybe she's on craigslist!
Wish Me luck, I hope all your temperatures are nearly 90!
Always the Lady¬Zya
Homework & early finals for both classes. ai yi yi!

I decided that I prefer MA winters over FL summers and am moving back to MA in May. I can't wait!

Time to purge my junk. Now that I have a Kindle, we'll see how well I can let go of books. The other area that is difficult to purge is clothes.

Hi from downunder! January was sweltering (45C+) where we were (and while parts of the country were being blown off the map) while you all were deep in snow. Thankfully it has cooled, and yay, we finally moved on! 10 weeks is the longest we have been in one spot, but there were a confluence of reasons. Now back to a more exciting routine involving some sightseeing mixed in with the study and writing!

Healthwise a few annoying issues, somehow bruised My big toenail which is coming off slowly and painfully ... and managed to get a bit infected. Antibiotics for that helped BUT I now have a large red patch on the other leg which appears to be an allergic reaction to the antibiotics! So we were lucky to find a Dr open in this little town this morning (Saturday) and so avoided a 130k round trip ... now on new antibiotics! Hopefully all will right itself soon. Luckily if we get to visit the open zoo tomorrow it's a matter of driving around the 6k road inside rather than doing too much walking!

I have been contacted by several subs in the towns we will be passing through over the next few weeks so ... if they all actually front up, the van will be shining and sparkling clean and I will be a happy lady who has had some fun spanking arses etc! And I've also re-found two friends from the past, both international, and it's wonderful to be in touch with them both again, I've missed their presence in My life. So all in all ... it's been a good one and I'm happy!
