rulemylife -> FOX News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 12:10:58 PM)

Either these people are totally incompetent or they are complete liars and frauds.

Considering how many times things like this have happened with Fox, my money is on the latter.

Fox News under fire for on-air gaffe

The network admits it "made a mistake" after viewers cry foul over suspicious footage. Not the first mix-up

On Tuesday, Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer asked Ron Paul to respond to the chorus of boos that greeted news the insurgent small-government Texas congressman had won the Conservative Political Action Conference's presidential straw poll for the second year in a row. There was just one problem with Hemmer's question: The vocal chorus of boos didn't come from last week's 2011 CPAC as the network claimed; rather those boos were from the 2010 conference.

The only people still fooled by Fox News: Conservatives. It just blows my mind, how easily Fox News can fool them. And of course, due to the conditioning conservatives have recieved from Fox News over a decade, deprogramming them from the cult is nearly impossible. Scientologists only wish they could be as effective as Fox News.

pahunkboy -> RE: FOX News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 12:42:02 PM)

yeah-  I seen they did that.

My neighbor says Fox is the only news she trusts.    We have an argument that night.  She told me the next day- that I was not "personable".

The corporate media always cheerleads for the corporate bottom line.

LMAO

I wonder how long it took for them to catch that "little" mixup lol
(and wonders how many foxnews viewers couldn't figure out what was wrong with that map)

mnottertail -> RE: FOx News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 1:44:45 PM)

So, Gates did not meet with the Israeli defense minister?

LOLOLOLOFUCKINGL.

mnottertail -> RE: FOx News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 1:48:22 PM)

But wait a minute....upon further reflection, this could be why they never found WMD.  And they are trying to cover up the fact.

CreativeDominant -> RE: FOx News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 3:05:50 PM)

Yes...we all know that ABC, CBS, NBC never screw up, do they?

But wait...ABC News goofs again: leaves affiliatess in the lurch as war starts.

http://www.stephenhunsicker.com/news-abc.html

And of course, the wonderful Katie Couric would not commit an on-air goof. She's ALWAYS so well-prepared, isn't she?

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/rich-noyes/2009/07/25/high-mighty-couric-scolds-nyts-errors-forgetting-her-own-colossal-air-go

Nor would the liberal "for the people" Katie succumb to pressure to change the substance of an interview, would she?

And of course, NBC News ...at any level...would NEVER let statements come out over the air that were not meant to be heard...would they?

http://elpasotimes.typepad.com/mediabuzz/2010/08/miss-universe-slip-up.html

And how about that Rachel Maddow? She'd never rush to air with a story that would make conservatives look bad without checking her facts first, would she? Oh wait, she did...

Fellow -> RE: FOx News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 3:23:01 PM)

I predict it is just a beginning. There will be all kind of dirty tricks to destroy Ron Paul candidacy. Considering his economic policy views (esp in finance and defense) he could even face what happened to Kennedys if he reaches too far.  Remember Ross Perot dropping suddenly out of the race, and then re-entering, after loosing a momentum and being portrayed by press as delusional and paranoid. What really happened then?

mnottertail -> RE: FOx News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 3:23:59 PM)

Uh, he was delusional and paranoid. That's about the size of it.

Fox News Highlights Nazi, Hitler Signs in Wisconsin Pension Debate, Networks Skip Controversy

[image]http://newsbusters.org/sites/default/files/regnazi.jpg[/image]

The network morning shows on Thursday failed to find any controversy in union protests from Wisconsin, ignoring the signs comparing Scott Walker, the state's Republican governor, to the Taliban, the Nazis and Hitler. Fox News, on the other hand, highlighted the attacks on "Mullah Walker."

Thank God for FOX News.

Maybe they can help with that drooling problem.

outhere69 -> RE: FOx News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 6:37:55 PM)

Ummm...so...did Fox screw up or not?

For someone who doesn't like MediaMatters, HuffPo, etc., should you really be linking to Newsbusters?  One bias doesn't override another.

Lucylastic -> RE: FOx News has another oopsie moment (2/17/2011 6:51:01 PM)

he only quotes right wing media
