Status: offline 		On boards such as this, I find it necessary to first state what I am not. I am not in the practice of using force, or the implication of force. I do not seek a 24/7 D/s relationship. And, held to any stereotype regarding individual facets of my being, I am far from conventional.

This said, for the purposes of this site, I am wont to define myself as Dominant, for I consistently take on the position of Instructor. Almost all of my experience has been with absolute novices who, weeks, months and years down the line, have found themselves feeling completely natural engaging in and anticipating things they would never before have even imagined.

My tastes range widely, but their common thread has been my love for Total Enclosure and multilayer encasement. Be it plastic, rubber, or up to ten layers full body pantyhose, I have used these forms of encapsulation as means of liberation to the women in my care.

Other common threads are passion, timelessness and unshakable resolve. And an absolute sureness of hand.

My ideal situation would be to find a woman whom I would never touch skin to skin, and even whose face I may never see, but with whom I would share the deepest intimacy. In my presence the would remain fully suited and masked, with a minimum one layer of enclosure from head to toe. I have been friend and lover to women who find direct touch unbearable, and so I know this is tenable.

Veiled touch is not denial of physical contact. Had you been abused sufficiently, you would comrehend a paradigm in which direct touch cannot be trusted. Two of my closest friends have been Dominas, one of them known worldwide, who entered into this 'lifestyle' for precisely that reason.

Who knows; perhaps recreation is your motive here, rather than necessity. If so, I recommend you go back to being bored.

Status: offline 		Not "teasing", per se. Layers of enclosure serve more to deliver a sensual echo than  as a means of sensory deprivation, when employed properly. And survivors of abuse are not the only individuals to whom such a situation - veiled touch - would occur naturally. A large body of Muslim women, for example, have progressed from feelings of subjection based on mandatory Hijaab, to the eroticism of their encasement. Other cultures also have taboos that can be played with, while not necessarily broken.

I merely mentioned abuse because I have found that those who have been damaged enough not to allow themselves to be touched - or, even, to touch themselves, because being touched HURTS, find that, completely enclosed in latex, plastic, Zentai et cetera, that same touch becomes okay, and even becomes wonderful.

Too many here seem to be hung up on being masked meaning not being *seen*, and the implication (theirs, not mine) that being covered means being ignored.

It is true, I've known women who, as soon as they were masked, acted and felt completely and utterly LOST. And I have known women who have found freedom in not being seen naked. They allowed themselves to experience sensations and emotions they, through whatever programming they had been subjected to, had previously denied themselves.

And I shouldn't have to go into the sense of liberation some find in bondage and submission. Should I?

Status: offline 		OK I think I grasp what the OP is getting at. Whilst not My 'thing' (I am quite the opposite, a real touch junkie esp flesh on flesh) I understand intellectually that there could be great attraction in veiled touch. My ex hubby (the not-really sub CD), really didn't like impact play and so wasn't a whole lot of fun to play with. A friend got into latex suits and let him try one ... he really enjoyed being flogged through the suit. And any number of people are into mummification and vacuum beds ... so it's not so far from those to what the OP likes.

I think where I have difficulty is the suffocation bit, because that takes My mind off into breath play which is personally a no-go area. For Me that goes beyond SSC or RACK into areas where a mistake is not something made twice. And yet I know there are any number of people willing to get into choking, breath play, suffocation play ... some even do it to themselves! From previous threads on these boards, I suspect this breath play aspect is what people are reacting a bit negatively to as well as the possibility that not seeing = ignored as the OP addressed.

OP, I think people are wishing you luck for a number of reasons. Firstly, that's what is wished just about any newcomer ... along the lines of good luck in finding what you seek ... even the most "usual" interest in this lifestyle takes some luck to find a partner who shares it AND enough other characteristics to make a good match. If someone has very particular interests, then they will need even more luck to find the right person. Given that you have such very particular interests AND you are not looking for an ongoing 24/7 relationship as it seems most people on the boards are ... you will indeed need lots of luck! It's not meant to be belittling. It's just us who have been here a while know how hard it is to find what we seek.
