Rep. Michele Bachmann was on a tear: In one of her most fiery stump speeches to date, the tea party leader told a South Carolina audience that the tax code was a “weapon of mass destruction,” that President Obama is “babying” terrorists, that the rich pay too much in taxes, that social issues like marriage and abortion cannot be put on the “back burner,” and that Fox News’ Glenn Beck can solve America’s budget deficit. http://minnesotaindependent.com/77966/bachmann-glenn-beck-can-solve-the-budget-deficit What is it about Baggers like her, that they have to over exaggerate their language ???? Oh and that they are a completely crazy bunch of plonkers. But shes gonna run in 2012.. Hey look guys, its an attention whore. If Rep. Bachmann is out of the news for longer then eight days, she throws an childish tantrum on some irrelevent issue. In this case, several issues. Not once does she give something concrete and solid on how to accomplish any of what she is suggesting. As solid as her 'arguements (that's being liberal with the word 'generous') get, holds the consistancy of diarrhea. But, as we know from MANY past experiences, that Republicans understand the concept of 'responsibility' about as well as Glenn Beck understand's economics. (read: nonexistant) quote: from article... We show kids how chemicals interact in chemistry. We show kids how to make electronics in Shop Class. We show kids how to exercise properly in gym class. We show kids that William Shakesspear isn't some non-noteworthy person from history at theaters every year. Why not show them how politics and our form of goverment work? She doesn't want kids to see that the liberals have some real fun at protest rallies where as conservatives simply shout vulgar and swear words 10 billion times a second, while holding posters that show a lack of education and intelligence. Even the filthy rich can't afford a lousy 3% tax increase for that. Doesn't matter anymore anyway. There is a new bipartisan caucus coming out with a bill to cut further spending on programs for the masses so they can further reduce corporate taxes and the top income tax rate to 29%. Are we rich yet ? "Repeat the lies enough and people will begin to believe them"

This is very sad. It used to be that politics was an arena for statesmen. Oratory was a polished tool for effecting change. Now you have people who are not interested in legislating and are simply attention whores. While Limbaugh took years to build a media presence, Palin and Bachmann found that holding office is a short cut. Sad.

Not sure what you are talking about...but I am just applauding republicans for opening their hearts and minds to two drugged out freaks in Limbaugh and Beck. These two have bought enough drugs to keep mexican drug kingpins in business for years. But, hey, they come on your radio and tell you what you should be doing and you are men and women enough to believe them. I applaud you.

(not to mention maturity) In 1963, my mother took a few of her students to see Martin Luther King Jr speak during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. My great aunt drove them to the National Mall, not really sure what was going on, and thinking she was driving them to a riot, but doing it just the same. When my mother returned home to Pennsylvania, someone had spray painted "N***** Lover" on her garage door, but this was a really minor sour note to an otherwise peak experience for her. Yes, I am a Democrat (and I vote. And volunteer.)

Bachman and her ilk have no clue as to what they are doing. Like most ultra conservatives, she follows the philosophy of "Take care of the rich and fuck everyone else." The Republicans are all in favor of cutting social security, vet benefits, and there has been talk at the local VA Hospital that there may be more closings of such facilities, which does not surprise me in the slightest. A vet can put his life on the line to protect these asshats, but as far as being taken care of, forget it. They are saying, in effect, "Thank you for your service, no go fucking die under a rock and dont bother us."
