The democrats did not vote for passage of this bill. They are in hiding in Illinois and have voted on nothing.

I remember that. So does this mean the libs are going to be known as "The party of run and hide" or "The party that keeps it nose deep in the ass of the union"?

So are the non union members. You know, the ones who the unions are trying to rob along with the union members. Now why the hell should someone pay union dues, when they are not members of a union?

my post was for Sanity, as he has been unable to say that union members are tax payers as if they dont pay anything.
I never denied anyone was a tax payer or that the unions were big n skeery robbing innocent joes. Take up your prob;lem with Sanity, I never declared otherwise and dont put words in my mouth

http://www.indystar.com/article/20110222/NEWS/110222004/House-Democrats-flee-Indiana-stop-votes

Seats on one side of the Indiana House were nearly empty today as House Democrats departed the the state rather than vote on anti-union legislation.A source tells the Indianapolis Star that Democrats are headed to Illinois, though it was possible some also might go to Kentucky. They need to go to a state with a Democratic governor to avoid being taken into police custody and returned to Indiana. The House came into session twice this morning, with only three of the 40 Democrats present. Those were needed to make a motion, and a seconding motion, for any procedural steps Democrats would want to take to ensure Republicans don’t do anything official without quorum. With only 58 legislators present, there was no quorum present to do business. The House needs 67 of its members to be present.

Post November election sour grapes. Just like the Wisconsin Democrats. Just like the Texas Democrats of several years ago. Fire 'em all.

It seems as though democrats are on the run and in hiding all over the midwest. Go back to work and do what you were elected to do. What a bunch of dopes.

Exactly. Go back to work and do what "We the people..." told you to do last November. Remember the Democrats "We won" (Pelosi) and "You can come along for the ride but you gotta sit in the back!" (Obama)? What a bunch of hypocrites.

Obama walked off the job and left the District of Columbia almost a year before Palin did.

All of the police and fire unions are exempt. Even the 100 plus that opposed him. Doesn't sound like payback to me.

And there is your equal protections case.

According to your definition, so did Harding and Kennedy.

People on the left would probably take the ones on the right more seriously if they didn't keep spouting stupid shit like this. Even my father, after watching hours of Fox can admit that he didn't quit. He was elected president.

Well, thishere the point of all this is, for whatever reason people have walked off this and that job without any seeming ill effects, so this sort of talk is a dead end.

Because everytime they go out on strike and leave their jobs and create more money and benefits for the workers the scabs amongst them get the benefits too. So, yeah, you should pay the dues.

If they could follow in the clown in chief's footsteps they would vote "Present". Damn those parliamentary rules.

you have that little thing there, say something once why say it again.

Take your own advice, you have said absolutely nothing of value or correctness, again and again.

You see that bold type guys? Which post did I say this line? Since Willbeurdaddy is accusing me of saying something I've NEVER said on these forums......EVER! Either I said it (which I know for a fact I did not), or willbeurdaddy is presenting a lie.

Now, what servantforuse 'said' actually IS my post. I am led to believe willbeurdaddy simply switched around the names in a manner to attack me. It is pretty said that his ploy is so obvious...

So why, willbeurdaddy, did you lie? You are GUILTY!

If willbeurdaddy was actually in reply to something I stated, please point out this....

....As my signature? If this was actually my signature, shouldn't it be on older posts (last week, last month)? I don't use a signature. That's the point. As willbeurdaddy is not replying to me, but is trying to make the rest of you believe, he is.
