StrongSpirit -> RE: you fantasise about it, it arouses you, you experience it in reality, and it doesnt - why? (3/5/2011 6:38:57 PM)

When you fantasise about something you are getting of on the idea of it happening, not it actually happening. It is not just pain, but other things as well. Think of "The Shawshank Redemption". Now that is a great movie. I absolutely loved the scene when he crawls through the sewer. Would I want to do it in real life? NO. God no. Same with almost all adventure stories. Real life adventures are dirty, painful, uncomfortable activities. But they sure are fun to read about. Reality is not fiction. There are tons of great stories that would be hell to live through, but are great to imagine. What holds for reading about in books also holds for kinky fantasises. I myself have some pretty hard core pain fantasise - but I don't do anything stronger than a spanking in real life. I have found that spanking is the harshest pain that I actually enjoy delivering. But it doesn't stop me from thinking, fantasising, or writing about much stronger stuff.
