You miss the point anyway, which is if it were anything substantial (meaning serious) you would think it would actually make the news. Instead where is it, leftwing blogs and "the cap times" which no one has ever heard of. Why isnt CNN all over it. Where is MSNBC? CBS? Anything major, even left wing. And no, Huffington is so far out there, please.

It hasn't been archived in serious news sources because it wasn't to be taken seriously, only Faux or Brietbart will keep hammering that lie. The majors do not report on the goings on of the prison planet website either, by example.

Outspoken, top of the news cycle, center-of-attention Republicans can be a litigious bunch. There has been a precedent set. But then again, placing a call is not intercepting phone signals. I can see where the Newt thing did cross FCC rules, while prank calls are placed everyday with no consequences. I'm pretty sure their lawyers were just being extra cautious.

Ive watched the AP one, its on you tube Apparently If its not on drudge, fox,,and rush, beck, WND and malkin haven't made a remark, then it didn't happen on a "reputable" site The fact that there are more than 7 million hits on the phrase "walker phone call" and several thousand on "prank call walker" means nothing.

It's not a violation of federal law to record a conversation as long as one of the two parties is aware that the call is being recorded, not is it a violation of Wisconsin state law. The budget was shored up with concessions. There is no budget problem in Wisconsin anymore. Ironic, isn't it, that the libertarian crowd is FOR the removal of a person's freedom of choice. Who would have ever thought? It must be this new brand of libertarianism is more self-centered, rather than class-centered. Whats in it for me. Kinda like sub-prime borrowers living in fancy houses. That, too, was all about 'whats in it for me'. Question of the day: If the Barry Goldwater political movement came of age during the iPod/Facebook era, would it have been "all about me" libertarianism, too?
