Nonsense Firm, many of the liberals on here were fine with the invasion of Afghanistan, but not of Iraq.

And they are wrong on both.

Care to tell everyone why Bush was wrong to go after those responsible for 9/11 then ?

Psub,

Are you equating the 9/11 attackers with invading Iraq?

Blowboy

Wilbur, the Dem 2012 strategy is going to be polarization of the country, and demonization of those who disagree, and they are going to take it to levels we have never seen before.

Your bullshit aids that.

Richie, you make some amazingly ill-conceived posts but this one tops them all.

The Democratic strategy is the polarization of the country?

Maybe you can explain to me what the fuck the Republicans have been doing for the last 30 years?

From the religious right and Falwell's Moral Majority bullshit to the idiots on FOX News who make a career of criticizing anything on the Democratic agenda.

No Hlen, with the invasion of Afghanistan. I thought it was right to go after Bin Laden but not to invade Iraq. I am waiting, and I have all weekend, for Wilbur to explain why invading Afghanistan was wrong.

With the ever spreading crisis in the Middle East, does anyone want to take a gander at what country will be next?

Iran? Saudia Arabia? Jordan? Lebanon? UAE? Yeman?

Many people are guessing Iran, next.

I am thinking Iran, these days.

well someone has to force those savages into mob rule!  errrm I mean democracy.

Depends.  Are you just talking about uprisings, or successful ones?

I would early love to see the Iranian revolution succeed.  Those in power are vicious and dangerous.  But I don't see it happening.

I'll be happy to expand on my take of the apparent strategery of the 2012 Obama/Dem campaign, RML. Start a thread.

Why don't you start it Rich...I mean since you have theories about it...I do to, but my opinions are filtered through a very foreign lens

This country has been polarized by both sides for a long time.
I hope in the end, we start to agree on the issues that matter the most and
effect EVERYONE.

If not, uprisings might not be limited to the Middle East.

Judging by the sheer number of complaints we receive about the Politics & Religion forum, your opinion is clearly not shared by all.  Further, we enforce the Terms of Service, the Guidelines, and other directives that we receive.

If there are any other comments of this nature, please take it to private mail.

Chances are pretty good I'll start a few, before all is said and done, Arpig. I think the decision to put the debate on scheduled tax increase into the 2012 election year is a solid indicator of where they plan to go.
