Well we know that the noble law was subsidzed lumber from national forests. Let's not forget why society exists. But you do have it right....it's a matter of nature that 90% are poor and paying for the rich.

So just as the Oaks shade the sun, the rich are entitled to our money. God made you one of John Locke's inferior people or Adam Smith's 'labor race' and has spoken...there shall be soclaism for the rich and capitalism for the poor.

In any scenario.....you'd already have competitors. Do you not think that one of them wouldn't jump in and appreciate your market share? Or two? Or three? Or someone seeing you go would say...hey, I'd like to take a shot at that too.....

Problem is you come from the school of laying down for the almighty corporate leader as if there aren't any number of people that can do the same thing...at any given time....but, I see the collar around your neck.....its expected

Yes, I already would have competitors.  Thing is, when My clients leave Me, they go to those competitors and then they reach the asset cap.  Same process repeats.

You seem to think that it's just as easy to start a business as it is to close one.  It's not.  You're missing the part about what it takes to actually produce a product.  It doesn't go from 'hey I'd like to do that' to getting something off of the assembly line overnight.

For the record, I'm not laying down for anybody.  I'm telling you that if there were no benefit to Me personally, there's no reason for Me to make an effort.  The very same as if somebody came along and told you that you've made enough money by September, but you should keep going to work and give every cent that you would have made away until the end of the year.  You just keep applying yourself, but you don't get paid anymore.  Are you telling Me that you're really going to do that?

I assume you encourage weeds and thorny trees which dont produce fruits to steal nutrition and sunlight from the more desirable plants, and that you put signs up all over town encouraging bums and vandals to come and help themselves to whatever produce that develops despite your efforts to prevent it

I prune all the different trees in my orchard, I cut back the vines in the vineyard each year, I pinch back berry flowers.

Why? It vastly increases yields, along with the vitality of the trees/vines/plants.

If you are telling me that I am doing that to help out the rest of my fellow countrymen..yes. I do it gladly. Be inference you are saying that it is ok to be selfish and only think  of yourself. That hell, its over at Septemeber fuck everyone else. Hence, why are in such a fucking mess in these two wars cause no one gives a shit......and why bush and pals decided it was "september" when he started the war without finding a means to pay for it. Typical Capitalist.

I am not saying it is easy to start a business. To the contrary. That is why I mentioned competitors...... And with the benefits afforded the country with the additional revenue a true middle class could once again be created.....

Any chance of staying on the topic without dragging the wars into it?  All that does is confuse the issue.

I commend you for your selfless opinion on the subject.  Personally, I'm not going to sit here and say that I share it.  If I sat here and told you that I was willing to bust My ass for the next three months and not receive any personal benefit, I'd be full of shit.  I want something tangible for My efforts.

Now, we can argue all day about whether more people have your opinion rather than Mine.  Look around and decide for yourself.  Do you really think the majority of folks falling into the criteria of having more than enough assets for themselves are going to take your approach?  Best of luck on that.

We've tried it the selfish way for a long time now. It doesn't work. We are all still fighting over the same scraps we always have fought over. I am hoping that the powers that be will keep pushing the envelope till those of us down here decide its enough and take back our power. Only then do we have a chance of making things work.

I understand you. you can't see life any differently. Which is a shame.

I tend to see society in a much different way than I see dynamics.  I don't believe in dictatorships for government.  I'm certainly not full of Myself to the point that I think I should be telling people how they have to feel or try to remove their free will.  Including saying they get the choice of what they are willing to work for.

No. I'm sure you are wrong.

Bill O'Reilly just told me about the class war being waged on the wealthy.

And if can't trust Bill then who can you trust?

I'm sure Mr. Ed's pet jackass will be along any minute with a whole list of citations demonstrating that Americans inflation-adjusted earnings have actually quadrupled, except that they had to give all of the increase to Acorn and Planned Parenthood.

Fucking Socialists.

When we both know that since 1980 the after tax income adjusted for inflation for at least half Americans...has gone down, i.e., getting poorer. The numbers since are getting worse and soon that number will be way over half Americans. Fucking capitalists.

Fuck that. Simply make a limit on total assets.....anything above it comes to the gov't for redistribution or debt relief....And, no, the rich won't leave....Where are they going to go? china?

Why leave?  If that were the scenario, I'd just retire.  Better hope I wasn't one of those folks who was making My money by owning a business, because I'd just shut the thing down and wait until I had depleted enough of My assets to make liquidating worthwhile.

Its breathtaking how many people can not grasp this. The concept of the lesser rich just taking their ball and going home (retiring). I know of at least one recession proof local business this is going to happen with.

Big business has already taken most of their jobs and left the USA.

Bleeding the lesser "rich" dry will get the Feds money. They will then use it to pay their foreign buddies off, feed the Military Industrial Complex, pay for pork projects, pay for Obama's vacations, the bloated Federal Government will get more bloated, and politicians continue with their orgy of wasteful spending. The Feds but will not create lasting jobs throughout the USA.

Obama will browbeat anyone still listening about how they have a responsibilty to fix problems they are being taxed to fix.

The lesser rich will not be hiring just because the Government took more in taxes then demanded they hire more people.

I don't watch Fox, CNN, or any US news outlets (I think Glenn Beck has less intelligence in his eyes than a squirrel). Obama loyalists will point at me and claim Fox news brainwashing.

If I want to read an article I'll see if the Guardian UK has written one. It will be slanted but not a guaranteed Obama puff piece or Republican propoganda.

I am capable of recognizing failed policy when I see it.

Obama can make all the Kool-Aide on the planet and I still won't be drinking it.

Republican and Democratic politicians disgust me.

Obama loyalists have gotten particularly shrill and desperate; I just pay them as little attention as possible.

Obama is on a fast track to epic failure.

Seems to me the facts tell us the capitalist has the free ride. Let me count the ways...

*subsidies either directly in cash or in the tax code.

*CATO inst.: $3 trillion in corporate welfare since 1980

*Moving jobs to China, can't really have their slaves back, so the next best thing will do.

*Many $Billions of corporate profit UNTAXED or barely taxed.

*Tariffs to shield my profits from foreign competition, the last in lumber and steel again.

* Oil depletion [sic] tax credits.

* Farm and lately ethanol cash subsidies.

* A govt. run single payer health insurance program (entitlement) for banks with borrowing power from the taxpayer if necessary.

* Govt. mortgage warehousing in the form of GSE (govt. sponsored enterprises [sic])

* Govt. (taxpayer) bailouts for greedy capitalist scum on wall street.

Shall I go on ? Theses were just off the top of my head.

Some of this is worth looking up, the other and more than 1/2...anti-Obama rant. Suffice it to say the real American creed is "I am here to make mine and...fuck everybody else." That's how all of the 'free market' [sic] capitalists feel who want and have anything but a free market.

Obama has constructed is capitalist bone fides...wall street still running treasury, fed getting yet more power, continuation of GITMO and two very profitable wars, patroit and HS acts and makes not a mention of corp. subsidies. He will most assuredly will be re-elected. I could go on here too.

LP,

While DYB has tilted off his rocker it does seem that in ways we've fallen back to the Robber Barons.

Corporate America in many cases has outsourced and moved offshore not because it was necessary for survival but to make the most profit.  This in turn was meant to drive the stock price so they can make a killing on their options.

The demise of places like Bell Labs hasn't helped.  Too many corporations have slashed R & D content to let others in places like China and Japan hold the designs and advances.

There are too many cases where we've sold down the river to increase the stock price.

Even if the dumb fucks who voted in the Teabaggers and Refucks were to suddenly put 2+2 together, and figure out that there's a direct correlation between their voting preferences, and their finances, it won't do any good.

The Middle Class has been destroyed in the US.

good, move somewhere where things are more balanced, and far worse than here for far more people

Also, inevitable dollar collapse will make inequality much sharper.

This makes no sense. Those who have unspent money will lose value on that, those who dont will be bailed out for day to day needs. Inflation is a tax on the haves, not the have nots.

Yeah the top 5% paying 60% of the taxes isnt enough. You might want to read about killing the golden goose, idiot.
