First, dont call it "bullshit". I never agreed with the bailouts. Search the threads and you will see that.

You can only increase revenues so much. Are you actually prepared to argue that there isnt ALOT of fat that can be shaved off many of these programs? Are you willing to argue that the military needs 8 billion dollars more?

NO ONE should be getting " more" in this economy. Across the board cuts are indicated. How much? Whats wrong with an equal percentage for each program?

Im hardly advocating not increasing revenue. But we have to be smart about all this, or we are just pasting on a bandaid over a gaping wound.

As on your other thread I can find 80 Billion tomorrow. Stop killing people in Iraq and Afghanistan....A percentage cut from all? That looks like a bandage.......Why not ASK the people in the program to FIND waste. Reward those that help in creating extra value and still provide the best service the Gov't can. Why do we always have to assume that we need to tell them what has to happen. Don't you think Gov. Walker would look like a lot better man and politician if he would have asked the teachers union what they could come back to him with as far as recommendations on saving?

But no matter what you cut, unless you create more revenue and much more revenue the problem isn't going to solved.

Even without analysis one may conclude this is BS. Taking out one company from the market does not eliminate jobs (unless there is no demand at all). This is not how markets work. If 1.4 million was lost, they have no useful purpose.

Coulda bailout EVERYBODY else...while letting that oh so hallowed 'market' do it justice to those crooks and take about 6 banks with it and their un-fucking believable $trillions in assets which means OUR money.

I am amazed at how completely successful all of the capitalist propaganda has been at and least as successful over 50 years as Nazi propaganda was over 6 years. IF it is so great...why are we in such a financial fix ? Why are more than 1/2 the people...getting poorer or deeper in debt...everyday ?

Oh and BTW, Repubs don't hate America. They just truly love...love money and power more. Look there disease has even infected the state levels as in Wisc. for just one example.

Who are you going to ask? The DOD to cut their own spending? You arent that naive. The heads of federal programs? They will slash jobs from beneath, cut into the programs heart, and make sure they have all they need to "continue to operate"... in other words, to keep lining their own pockets at the expense of others.

Where are you going to create enough revenue, without cuts, to balance the budget? Im not talking about getting rid of any programs. That isnt realistic.

There is a common sense economics and there is propaganda. There is no doubt what Obama is doing: propping up the asset prices by flooding the market with counterfeit money, saving the rich and serving his corporate donors. GM is not even American company, it only poses as such. GM produces and sells more cars in China. Big part of the bailout money was spent to move the production out of The US.
Yes, they are "saving" with bailouts. The only question is who is getting "saved". I guess, Obama made a correct choice saving HIS ass. He surely brings America down.
