quote:
ORIGINAL: sexyred1 I am curious, since this collar looks nothing like jewelry to me. If this is worn constantly how do you wear it to work? Do people ever ask what it is? I could not wear something that obviously looked like that in my business. Well, actually, in real life it is somewhat ambiguous. It might also be a fashion necklace depending on the outfit she's wearing. But more importantly, I don't really care what other people ask. Nor do I care how it may impact her (or my) employability. Generally I don't submit to faceless, nameless strangers. Rather, I would just change the situation so that those things are not a problem anymore. The other ultimate truth is that people don't care that much about other people's jewelry. Carol and I just aren't that important to everyone else. I think in all the time she wore it actually 24x7x365 exactly ONE person commented on it and even then it was a hesitant, "I like your necklace."
