Our room had service for 4, a frying pan, a saucepan, etc. All of the kitchens are different, but ours had a full size fridge, microwave, stovetop, and I can't remember if there was an oven or a dishwasher (I washed dishes by hand - we didn't have that many). I know we made coffee, so some sort of coffeemaker. They had paper towels, a sponge, dishsoap, etc.

Hib and I went shopping, and I think we only bought food and drink, no tools or anything.

I don't remember if there were any other small appliances - toaster, blender, etc.

I remember there was a toaster, yes, and an oven.

UMBRELLAS. Bring them. Not for rain so much as PARASOL. Also HATS. Sun, tropical, bad for ya, burned scalp etc.

Sunscreen. Big spf spray on. Zinc oxide. Shoes that will be nice to your swollen feet.

Thank you both very much, haz da hat, sunscreen, lots of shoe choices, beach shoes, check...needs big parasol......adds to list.....

A month! woohoo!!

So, one of the things that *I* am doing, all on my lonesome if need be, is a four-hour shelling dealio. A boat takes folks to a key that supposedly has "good" shelling. I have been collecting shells for 40-odd years, and am invariably displeased with the calcium-rich items of the Gulf. But dagnabbit I must have shells!!!! It is $25, they offer a snorkel & mask, and a bag to keep things in. There is a beach there for those of the non malacological bent.

Otherwise, my Plan involves: floating like a large dagonian, having sangria, lots of Publix baked goods, and Zephyrhills water.
