I don't feel, look or act like I'm 40, so I don't know why it's such a huge deal. I guess I just feel like I haven't accomplished what I've wanted to in life, and now...it's more than likely half over. I know I should be grateful for each and everyday I have; it's not that. I am a pretty happy person. It's just BLAH!!! 40!!

Dayum...I'm 50 and don't even feel close to it! I'm still in my first childhood! It's all just numbers....yeah, we hear it all the time, but the power of suggestion is a strong thing....believe that 40 is "middle aged", and it will be. Hell, my dad is 75, my mom is 68, and they are out driving a big rig! They didn't start that until they were 52 and 46. When I think of them, "old" is the last thing that pops into my head.
