What turns me on is a brain that arrives turned on and in gear.

There is nothing which makes Mr. Tiny shrink away in fear more than somebody who I can blow in one ear and extinguish a candle on the other side of her head.

Bad hygiene, offensive odors, bad teeth, and baldness are real turn-offs for me. I can't ignore them. I guess the fourth one is unfair (you can do something about the first three), but it's hard for me to be attracted to a woman with noticeably thinning hair.

Edited to add: How could I forget the biggest turn-off of them all? DISHONESTY.

Ignorant lound mouths,bullies, close minded folks without the will or imagination to look at others opinions/view/way of life, shopping list subs, Dumb-ly Doms doms(all women shall be/are my sluts and worship ME! types) poor attention to details (be it hygiene or personal budgeting) lack of interests beyond bdsm, liars, coarse/common or vulgar manners and languge, whiners and rubgy heads/jocks/fratboys.
Turn ons
Long well goomed hair, soft spoken, glasses, genius level I.Q, bulky/solid/chunky body types, and geeky hmmm show me your twenty side dice ;)

grace (physical and interpersonal)
good teeth
sparkly eyes (I know it's part of looks but they speak to more than that)
passion - doesn't even have to be something I'm passionate about or even interested in - intensity of any sort is very moving

Turn offs:
bigotry / Small-mindedness
apathy
lack of self awareness
lack of self discipline

obviously oodles more, this is what comes to mind now.

Turn on for me the “mind” is a man’s greatest asset….intelligence is an aphrodisiac beyond compare….I have learned that in order for a man to keep my attention for longer than a second date…they have to be smarter than me…which is not all that much of an accomplishment….lol…

Turn off for me are a man who takes longer to get ready than me…..or dear god…”Tans”…..I so will never date another man who tans…OMG…I have been dating gay men…lol…no wonder I never enjoyed the vanilla relationships….lol...

There are so many things..that i probably don't even realize them all. It is the presence..the commanding nature of one..they exude with it..a hidden passion..a sensualilty.

It can be a scent..one that lingers just enough..that you find it filling up your whole being. Many times i have had this happen in store..only to realize i was actually searching out the holder of it. Almost like a huntress seeking her prey..a very primal feeling..this of following the scent..very erotic.

It can be the look in the eye..a sparkle you see there..where the embers are beneath..and you just have to experience what this person holds inside.

i am most times..attracted to the quiet one..the one in the corner by himself. i wonder what he is thinking..and i also can see in him..a confidence..an "air" about him. For some reason..i just have to talk to him..to see if i can pull him away from this little world he has created..if i can get past where so many have failed...and enjoy the spoils of my quest.

Turn ons: Well, they tend to vary from person to person for me, since different things for different people catch my attention

Turn offs: Lying to me, dismissing my feelings, patronizing me, using other people to try and pick your fights, relying on drugs/alcohol instead of seeking therapy for mental malfunctions... there are others, but they are case by case problems... somethings I tolerate from some people that I refuse to with other people...

Mine tend to fall in line with the rest of the answers here. (Did anyone else notice that they were all about the same?) Other than the usual, white socks get me going for some strange reason. They can't overtake a dumbass with an attitude, but they get the job done.

Turn ons: (including, but is not limited to) Sincerity, being passionate (for all intents and purposes of this thread I am not referring to sex at this time), having the ability to actually listen, not only having a sense of humor but a somewhat twisted sense of humor (and getting or at least appreciating my sense of humor), knowing how to really kiss, sensuality, an inner confidence that is unspoken and unmistakable, smelling oh so good, being rational, being mentally and emotionally stable, being of good character, compassionate, being empathetic, being grounded, well rounded.....as well as the repetitive - good hygeine, intelligence, yadda yadda yadda. (a perk to all of this would be wrapped in a sweet military or military background package ) Ummm is that asking too much?

Turn offs: (Including but not limited to) Show offs, an attitude and/or behavior like the person has something to prove, know-it-all-been-there-done-that people, being judgemental, drug use, alcholoism, and basically anything opposite from 'turn-ons'

Turns offs - when their brain works slower than mine, not educated, don't know things.
Obesity. Happy with anyone about my BMI - let's be fair.... and my level of looks, doesn't have to be any better but enough so people would think we were visually a well matched couple.
No job. I work. I need someone similar.
Many of the things written above.
Quality of clothes can make a difference too. It doesn't take long to polish your shoes.

Turn ons - the converse of the above and what sweet31 said above too. Dominance -that's terribly attractive in itself. Being wanted - that's erotic to submissive women.

I love a good smelling guy!
One who can make me laugh and keep life light.
He must be as intelligent as me if not more so.
POSITIVE outlook and attitude despite what's happening in his life.
Well Groomed! Yes, everything including the package. Nuff said.
Outgoing, charismatic, electrifying personality of course is a big plus.
