Hello Treasure,

I just read your post. I hope the asswipes haven't stopped you from posting.
I enjoy bantering with people with divergent points of view.

Why not try to ignore the "individual's" that normally have to debase and insult others, in a nasty way to make their points?
Normally, these are not the "sort" of people we even really want to chat with do we?

Is it really okay just to hurl random insults at others, because they have a different point of view?
It shows how accepting people in an alternative lifestyle can be!

You know I find it incredibly funny.

People whine about how nasty the Politics&Religion board is on the other forums, but I found far more nastiness on those forums than I have ever seen here.

And this board has to with politics, not the alternative lifestyle.

If you want to complain about the lack of acceptance from people in the alternative lifestyle you just need to go to some of the other forums where there are plenty of people who will tell you exactly how you should be living your life and what the do"s and don't s are.

RML, the topic of this thread "Doubting my affiliation", { I think}, was based on what Arpig, feels, see's and experiences down here in politics and religion section of the message boards.

I didn't think it has anything to do with how people act on other boards on CollarMe, on other political boards, message boards,or on the world wide web.

We are talking about how people act/react, respond and treat other poster's, right down here in the politics and religion section.

As far as people being in this lifestyle being accepting, I already know many are far from that.

It has nothing to do with how people act on other boards on CollarMe, on the street, or out in the world wide web/internet.

We are talking about how people act/react, carry on and treat other poster's, right down here in the politics and religion section.

His experiences are just carryovers from what I have heard on other boards.

Politics is not meant to be nice.

But the so-called "nice" forums seem to be far more brutal.

I guess that is why I read and post 99% of the time down here in politics and religion, with you wonderful sweet and nice people.

I get the warm fuzzies down here, and I see and feel a lot of love down here.

Actually it wasn't a complaint about how rude or brutal or impolite people are down here in P&R, it was an observation that a lot of the left-wing posters embarrass me with their vitriol and apparent lack of ability to discuss things or admit when a right-winger is correct about something.

Thanks for responding, I think I stretched your op, a bit.
I have enjoyed this thread.

Many people seem to have an inability to see anything positive or good in any political party that they are not a member of.

One of the reasons I consider myself a {Moderate} though I admit to leaning to the left, is because I look at the issues/solutions, and I find myself agreeing with the right, on more than one occasion.

Someone on the far right agreeing to someone on the far left!!
Someone on the left agreeing with someone on the right?

Around here most rather cut off their nose to spite their face, before admitting to agree with anything that comes from the "opposing" political party.

This is choice, and I mean totally hilarious.

Someone who so aggressively and belligerently attacked those who argued against having the privates of children and grandmothers groped by minimum wage yesterday-hired employees of a private 'federal' corporation proposes to us here that he knows what "left" and "right" is about, because he has always abided by the media-directed or academically-directed instructions thereto.

It is amazing how the media have pulled the nose ring of those who willingly allowed the ring to be thus placed, with no inherent mind of their own.

Government and corporate intrusions were treated as just that, some thirty years ago, but now the media have the gullible thinking that there is some distinction and difference there.

This is just sad, that's all there is to it.
