I love the etymology of the name for queening. It's totally decadent... I can envision the court ladies in their victorian finery lifting up their large skirts and having a service-man hide under there while nobody's the wiser! Whoa, thread necromancy. So anyway, to answer the OP, I like queening. It is an interest of mine, but I tend to keep some of my interests as need-to-know information, so I don't have it up on my public checklist here. Why? I'm not shy about any of my proclivities, really. In the same right, however, some interests are just a neon lure for do me do me's, so I prefer to keep quiet about them until such a time as that kind of info might be relevant. [:)]

Can't speak for others, obviously, but I can tell you why I absolutely hate it, just as I strongly dislike any other form of body worship. I do not enjoy being objectified and I prefer to be the active part in the situation. Someone sticking their nose up my private bits and sniffing around is my idea of hell. I feel as if though I am nothing to this person but a giant arse existing solely for their private satisfaction.
