Be careful about ...hinting at/suggesting  violence.   The OP has rage over this.       (my 2 cents)

If this is a publicly held company, # 4 makes no sense. Managers have a responsibility to the shareholders to make as much money as they can. They can be sued for not taking care of their fiduciary responsibilities. Some see that as cold, but that's the way it is.

Yeah, except who's going to be able to afford their products, if they employees don't make enough money?  Frankly, there's not a single damn American that can compete with slave labor in Thailand or Vietnam (shrimp farming), or assembly workers in India, Pakistan, or China.  No one.  So how do you expect people to live around here?  Even doctors' (radiology) and lawyers' jobs are being outsourced; the professional fields are not an answer, especially given the oversupply of MBAs and JDs.    Even Henry Ford (whom I profoundly dislike) paid high wages because he knew his workers would then have enough money to buy his cars.

Back in the Republican "golden age" (i.e. postwar) lots of folks were in *gasp* unions earning good money and the top tax rate was *gasp* over 80%.

But, back to the OP.  In Silicon Valley, Jobs is notorious for his "hero/shithead rollercoaster" management style, and the "Steve Jobs reality distortion field".  He FUBARd Next Computers by overspending and being obsessed with things like the finish on screws (that were not visible to the user) and the prettiness of circuit cards.  He hired John Sculley, ffs.  His Macintosh was almost stillborn due to its lack of a network connection, insufficient memory, and lack of a hard drive.  The only thing that saved it was that the screen was WISYWIG if you used the Apple laser writer and helped the desktop publishing industry.

(If you want a thorough history of Apple, check out Michael S. Malone's Infinite Loop:  How Apple, the World's Most Insanely Great Computer Company Went Insane, and Randall Stross' Steven Jobs and the Next Big Thing.)
