Status: offline 		Since the holidays ended I have been totally focusing on positive things in my life.

I've been spending A LOT more time at the gym and love the results I am seeing. Trying to continue to eat healthy after the addictive holiday food phase.

I've actually got PAYING photo gigs booked that are rather scary and challenging. Stuff I've never done much of or really ever thought about doing. But hey.....what's life without some challenges and risk taking? And it will pay enough for me to invest in some more equipment I don't know how to use yet. So yay!

Kink wise.....my buttons seem to be stuck on 'lack of give a damn'. Fortunately I know me well enough to know that if I spend any time around the 'right' woman,  they will come blasting back on. I rather like it this way because I don't waste a lot of energy moaning about being without. I can focus on what is, rather than what isn't.

Monday of this week I went flying down the basement stairs the hard way and now look like I spent a couple hours with a impact player on the wrong end of the impact. Scared the hell out of GD and the dogs. The funny part of that was, the day before I spent hours on a ladder on those stairs painting the walls and ceiling, just sure I was going to crash 15 feet to my death on the concrete below. The painting and ladder was no problem. Walking down the stairs with wet shoes........yeah, a problem. So I skipped my yoga-lates class last night.......too many places I need to put weight/pressure on are interesting shades of purple/green/magenta/yellow and tender as hell.

Spring spring wonderful spring!!! We still have snow in patches but the migratory song birds are coming back and my horses are starting to shed so I know it is on it's way. I am looking forward to a lot of riding and hiking. And...........MORELS!!!!!!!!!

Status: offline 		And I just discovered yesterday that we have more babies on the way ... my cat (who is currently named "my stupid pregnant cat") managed to get herself knocked up before we could get her fixed ... for the record, she didn't weigh enough to be safely anesthatized before she went into heat the first time (she's very small). So we'll probably have kittens by Easter. I'm not really upset, as I love kittens, but I'm not exactly thrilled either. I hadn't intended for Gwen to get preg. So now I guess when people come to get puppies (which we intended to have) we can offer them a free kitten with their puppy

Spring is in sight!!! Hopefully it will bring with it longer days and more free time.  :-)

Yeah, I've heard that too ... but with all the unwanted mutt-cats out there, I really didn't intend to bring any more into being. But on the plus side, if they all end up being as big as their father, we'll never have to worry about coyotes eating our chickens again ... the cats, yes, but no coyotes LOL

Status: offline 		Finally, after holding My breath on many issues, I get a surprise early Spring break - all the way till April!
Did right fine on classes and have to take a day or two this week to sort out setting up to graduate after Spring Quarter, yay!
  There will be P i a n t i n g !
I intend on doing more interviewing (there is probably a semi-local submissive who will be stepping up soon. *noddies*) and I'm planning on teasing/training/tormenting some submissives with My girl friend MissV.
My best littlest sister is coming to visit with Me for Spring Break - Trying to go overnight at Sol Duc Falls. if it's not too cold.  In the next few days, there should be no snow here so stay warm & dry!

Hello A/all,

It seems that most every body has good things going on! It does seem that Spring arrived early this year. There must be something to old Punxsutawney Phil.

If it's cold enough, this coming weekend will be my last hurrah on the snow. I had a great season on the whole.

This Winter revealed some latent health issues that are a challenge. I am confident that I will tackle these with my usual "Superior Skill and Daring." They do present a small complication on the King Front however.

Did I mention the Kink Front? Thing are going really well there! I met this Really Great Domme. I really like her. Things are progressing past the "getting to know you" phase, and getting into the "You want me to do WHAT?" phase. I am really excited. I get this grin on my face... A REALLY SILLY grin....

Status: offline 		Fast reply: been so busy I haven't touched down. Spent Feb busy with witchy matters (PantheaCon was hugely enjoyable and further was successful for me personally, what with useful networking and such).

Fab news from my sub Ed, he's attending KinkFest this year again and will visit here for several days thereafter. Hugely cool! Reconnected with another kinky friend and plans including maintaining contact better.

Almost done paying off last year's new heat pump (which has kept the house comfy all winter, huzzah!) except for the zero-interest loan that gets paid off through the utility bill. Which will let me upgrade a computer here and an auto there, I hope...

Status: offline 		I cannot believe it is still March! So much has happened, so quickly and I am rushing to and fro busy, busy, busy. So much that I'm making two posts in a month and I can't tell all. lol More home remodel, more drama for the babies mama, new up and coming domina is advancing wonderfully and we have our own special bond, my son had surgery in Germany and is slowly getting better... that was a scary thing I never heard of and pic's are in with the new son he and wife expect soon... and my other son is really coming out... we think his little joke with a pretty girl we know was flirting!

I went from the 'You win some and you lose some' title of the month and moved into 'The Redneck meets Jerry Springerish Domina' and boy are we having fun! We meet within the week and he is vanilla swirl... calls me Ma'am and makes me laugh. All the important things I look for in a man and a submissive and he is very local! We've gotten passed what took many months with others. He is the third to pass my test in a couple of decades and excites me more than anyone since my hard to forget, collared submissive (3yrs ago). Don't know where it will go of course, but he is really proving to be some real potential in friend and maybe more! Let's just say, I am dusting off.

And... I'm tired. lol

Status: offline 		Hi. I've never done a roll call before but what the heck here goes . Life is good . Business is good . Recessions help me , I fix cars which is what you're qualified to do if you have a degree in History . Time is flying which is a bit scary because alot of days seem like the movie "Groundhog Day " and pass by seemingly unnoticed . My son graduates in May from NC State with a math degree thank God lol . I've gotten a up start on outside chores and it feels good to be in the air and sun again . Simple fact is that I'm happy not quite complete but blessed with a good life . The incomplete is the private time ,the personal desires that are yet unfulfilled and quite honestly not really all that defined . Tough to follow a path when you have no clue which direction you want to go . Ever hopeful tho because this too shall pass . Be well all !

Status: offline 		I dont remember the last time I responded to one of these or even visited the boards. Life has been crazy busy. Is March almost over? Where has the first quarter gone? I started a new job a year ago. 3 promotions 2 of which were lateral, have me working 12 hour days. My son returned from the Desert in Jan and I spent my 45th Bday in Cali mid March smothering my grandson with kisses.

Status: offline 		I don't recall ever seeing a roll call on the boards back when, but I think it is a marvelous idea for staying in touch and in tune.  This has truly been a wonderful year thusfar, rich with blessings and lessons.  Business has been good, and continues to get better, the other job is good too.  The book is coming along nicely and expect to be ready to publish in June 2011.  Like SweetDommes, I have an unexpected pregnancy with a cat that was spayed at 8 weeks.  Apparently something(s) were left behind, eh?  I have changed vets since then (she is now 2+ yrs), and she is just having one, so the procedure will be completed after the birth, and the baby will be fixed as well. 

I recently released a sub that has been with me for two and a half years.  While some actions are forgivable, they are unacceptable to me, hence the release.  I have some candidates who show promise.  We'll see. 

Still walking six miles, three days a week, and included some gym work this month.  Love it! 
I am thinking April is going to be full of great things!  Looking forward to traveling a little bit this year.
