No, I don't like it and I don't respond positively to it. I'm pretty good at detecting genuine compliments as opposed to ass-kissing, at very least I will challenge them straight out about what they just said/did. I agree it's insulting to My intelligence, and also dehumanising ... it is trying to make Me a thing they can manipulate and I really resent that.
I make it clear from the start that I like obedience BUT I also like genuine questions and a desire from the sub to learn why I like certain things done certain ways. I always want to know their real thoughts and opinions, not some generalised 'Yes Mistress, anything you want Mistress' ... I want to get to know the real person. I've had a couple try the 'whatever you want Ma'am' when asked what they want to eat/drink/watch on TV whatever and it drives Me bananas! I'm not psychic, I need to know your preferences ... THEN I'll decide whether or not you get them! Very much like LP's signature line really ...
