Why are we talking about two types of homebuyers on a thread about gun regulation?

Good point. Back on topic, folks. If you want to continue discussing the housing market, please start another thread.

Making your point is your problem.   Moving party bears the burden of proof.

Great idea. Then we could do it for cars. And knives. And for those nasty books (paper cuts, eye strain). And homes. And computers. And idiots.

So are you really so stupid that you see no distinction among those??

And you wonder why people are scared shitless at the thought of you being armed?   Christ, any garden variety tweaker is smarter than that.

Real0ne -> RE: What kind of Gun Regulation Makes Sense? (3/3/2011 10:33:42 PM)

Looks to me like you are the only one who "dont get it"  LOL

why dont you tell us in detail what the distinctions are in "your" opinion.

Termyn8or -> RE: What kind of Gun Regulation Makes Sense? (3/4/2011 1:27:16 AM)

"Moving party bears the burden of proof."

Would you like to engage in a discussion of the napster case and the DMCA ?

To begin with, you're an idiot.   No inanimate object is an idiot.

jack8007 -> RE: What kind of Gun Regulation Makes Sense? (3/4/2011 8:19:34 AM)

[[No you can't kill as easily with a knife as a firearm, and it's complete NRA bullshit to claim that.   If it were true, the NRA would be fine with giving up guns as long as they could have knives.

When was the last time you heard of some moron accidentally discharging a knife, and killing some fool down the street?  What's more, any moron that can squeeze a couple pounds worth can kill anybody as far out as that round will carry.   How many people would Loughner have killed with a knife?

Do you want a duel with any knife you want, and your opponent gets any gun he wants?]]

I  hear crickets, folks.

Well not today.

“Lawful” that the right is actful in substance, that moral quality is secured.

“Legal” is the antithesis of equitable, and the equivalent of constructive. 2 Abbott’s Law Dic. 24.

-------------------

which means:

LAW: For the law is with the substance and morals.

LEGAL: For the legal is with the false construction and void morals.

See that is the difference between legal and lawful.

Have you managed to cipher all that out yet?

mnottertail -> RE: What kind of Gun Regulation Makes Sense? (3/4/2011 8:28:56 AM)

Abbot's law dictionary of the late 1800s is probably not a tome that your average supreme court justice or common county necktie or district voicebox might have at hand or dogeared on the nightstand, these days.

So, unless a shyster absolutely and positively has to know the latin term for buck teeth....

on the contrary if I gave that to a supreme court justice he would look at me and smile.

You have hords of complete idiots in the lower levels of turn on me ville.

They do not teach the core foundation of law in law school.

and of course you get 2 kinds of turn on me's.  those that piss and moan and call names when they are shown to be the fool and frankly most that I talk with thank me for these little hard to find nuggets.

in·fringe/inˈfrinj/Verb2. Act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on: "infringe on his privacy"

the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

that means ZERO regulation

people do not understand the most rudimentary english now days.

Real, it means that the right to keep arms will not be infringed you idiot, but regulations can be placed to specify weapons that might be a danger to the public, LIKE AUTOMATIC WEAPONS.
