Had my third "date" with a Dom that i met recently...no playing, we are just getting to know each other....but He is really great....spent the day at the beach, had a picnic lunch and then fed the seagulls before we left.....an all-around nice day!

1. I got some good Mexican stuff at the grocery. I'm felling a mite sickish, and Mexican food will burn the hell out of the bugs. (Must be Anglo bugs.)
2. I talked with someone who is in the scene, and may have a renter lined up.
3. I found a way to make Excel graphs without having to spend so much time when I realized that I can extend the upper limit for the graph indefinitely, and Excel will automatically stop when the data quits.
4. I'm starting to arrange an out of town play date with a semilocal lady.
5. I talked with another lady for an hour today. We had kinda broken up, and the talk was just... friendly.

I woke up.
I went to work at a job I enjoy.
I came home from said job to a delicious pot roast meal.
I spent time with my son.
I spent time with my dogs.

It might sound simple, but sometimes the simplest things in life can bring the most pleasure.

i signed up for a continuing education course.
i made 60 bucks and a free dinner cleaning up some stuff for people.
i edited a bit of writing.
i did some charcoal drawing.
i hunted for found object art supplies.
i pestered my cat.

It is only shortly after 8 in the morning around here, but it is the 5th season and today the carnival festivities on the streets start.
I got 3 kids dressed up in their costumes and their faces painted as skulls on time. And the did look great (and scary, of course) when they left for school.

Mom is getting a new sitting mower since my brother never gets in his head that we need it head.

and NO!!! I will not ride it. I tend to turn it into a ATV and terrorize the ant hills.

today i woke up ungodly early to try to get the trash out before the trashmen made their early morning fly by (they've started coming at like 5 a.m.when they used to come at 10 a.m. =p) -- but i forgot the trash was already out. haha

posted on some posts, and replied to some c-mails. thought about getting my work stuff together buuuuuuuut... i'll put that off for now. haha =p

today turned into a very productive day
ended up not having to work, BUT got extra pay. =)
got curtains and curtain rods for my house that were super cheap and yet really cute; living room and kitchen now curtain'd
rearranged living room furniture (again)
getting the kitchen organized, and some christmas stuff out into the shed
lots of pots and pans washed and put in their new places; other stuff stored on top of the cabinets
bathroom cabinets in embryonic stage haha
curtains for room to come; organization solution still taking ultimate form. haha

aaaaaand... planned the flowers for planting ^_^

to do:
find bookshelves
find lawnmower (yay!)
start bagging up the sticks and other lawn waste stuff

then... i actually watched american idol. and i actually LIKED quite a few of them. o_0
woah.

I cleaned up critter poo and did two loads of laundry.
I made breakfast for dinner (pancakes!).
I did approximately 15 minutes of semi-serious cardio, and forgot to stretch.
I talked about video game princesses and watched MAD TV (the cartoon version) with my youngest child (he's 10 and a half).
I talked about vegetable gardens and the acquisition of bunny rabbits and chickens with the same child.
I thought some more about the possibility of homeschooling this brilliant individual, because his father and I believe we can do better than the public systems can.
I decided that I don't really like Windows 7.
I thought some more about my fitness, or lack of same, and what to do about it. (Yoga! and Pilates!)
I also thought some more about learning to bellydance, learning to do it well, and then teaching others and underselling the competition for lessons, because I'm doing it for pleasure, not for money (if it buys me a few groceries or pays a single utility bill each month, I'm good).
Next, a hot shower and a fresh shave!

I juiced 8 bananas (as they were about to go off) with 1 lime, 2 apple and 1/4 of a large pineapple with 250g low fat natural yoghurt and ice cubes...

My cats are all happy and content
