Good evening,
To start, i reside in thr San Diego area. I am intently interested in returning to working in bdsm. My experience is very limmited. This was something I did for chump change I dungeons as a 15 year old. I have always retained a desire to return to his lifestyle, I was just sidetracked getting a college education.
I feel that in order to passionately embrace being a mistress as a profession, it is imperative that I, similar to any discipline, learn the art very well.
I am seeking a mentor. Another established mistress who would be willing to take the time to teach me this skill. I am a quick study, fairly intellegent, a very eclectic girl, and would appreciate a woman with an open mind:D
I have the resources to compensate.
Sincerely,
V

I was sitting here trying to remember if we have any forum regulars that live in the San Diego area.  I don't have any names that are ringing a bell.

If you are interested in learning topping techniques, I'd suggest you getting out to your local BDSM community.  It's really not that hard to go to play parties to see what other people are doing and when their scene (including after care) is over walking up to them and asking if they would teach you what they were just doing.  Most folks are more than happy to show you a thing or two.  Also, you might be interested in the educational events that some groups hold.  Most munch groups hold demos of various skills given by folks who have been doing that type of play for a while.  Some presenters, if you talk to them, are willing to teach more than the material than what they presented at the class.

The above is exactly how I learned all of My topping skills over the years.  In My case, it was a great way to learn.

I would agree (again) with LP; GREAT ADVICE.

There are some great national conferences coming up also, if you wanted to take a little weekend trip, and dive-in head first to get a lot of information in a short amount of time.

Thank you for all of your comments. I will likely spend a couple more weeks reading and researching before I approach a potential mentor. I appreciate the direction you gorgeous women have given me.
