What do you watch on tv?
I watch Being Human on SYFY channel with my daughters. We love it. A vampire, werewolf and ghost live in a brownstone in Boston together.
We also watch Face Off.
I love Antiques Roadshow and find the History channel on when I'm with the man.

I have to admit that I'm a Survivor, Top Chef and Top Shot, America's Next Top Model, The Apprentice and Hell's Kitchen junkie.
It appears that I love bad reality tv. For me it's background white noise.

Blasphemy!! You just can't have bad reality tv and Top Chef in the same paragraph!
*and to think, you were once my role model...ugh!*

Along with my obsession for Top Chef (even though they eliminated Fabio AND Angelo!)

History Channel - Cities of the Underworld. Ancient Discoveries
The Travel Channel - Anthony Bourdains No Reservations
Crime Tv - Forensic Files or shows of that nature.
Investigation Discovery Channel - So far, just about everything.

I rarely watch tv, but the last time I was at my sister's I turned on Real Housewives & watched a 4-hour marathon. It was a HOOT!!!

Being Human..the American version sucks. I love the original BBC version.

The Big Bang Theory

Almost anything on the National Geographic channel.

How I Met Your Mother

And Top Gear, again the British version. I just can't get into the American one. The American versions just aren't that funny imo.

Clean House, Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, and Pawn Stars. I love the old man, putting down the grandkids.

How can Bourdain's No Reservations be considered a guilty pleasure? That's truly a masterpiece of film making. Not that I'm a Bourdain fan boy or anything... shut up! ;)
Ghost Hunters? Yeah, total guilty pleasure though.
I think of guilty pleasure shows and things like pro wrestling and such come to mind. Which is not one of mine.
Mine would be things like
Old cartoons, and not even the good ones. Ones like Speed Buggy, Thundar the Barbarian, Hannah Barbara Laff'O'Lympics, and crap like that. You know, shit that you'd be embarrassed if anyone caught you watching. ;)

I'm so glad I don't have most cable. I would be a History Channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic, Forensic Files, Law and Order and most movies junkie.

On network, I watch Brothers and Sisters, Desperate Housewives and, and....Extreme Home Makeover (I'm so embarrassed!!).

The Sunday Morning talking heads shows when I get up in time.

Ok ok so I forgot Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. I love that guy. I've read a few of his books and even though I hate to cook, I still can't stop watching/reading stuff by him. He's so honest about his life and what he thinks of others around the world and who he's worked with.

I strongly recommend getting the BBC version. It is superior to the crappy American version in every way.

Haven on Syfy.....it'd be nice if just once I could find a series that doesn't only run for one season and then disappear!

The Food Network is the best!  I catch Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, even the repeats!  Unwrapped, and I got sucked into this season's  Worst Cook in America!

I watch Animal Planet's "Must love cats", and Cats 101.

BK, I too love those old cartoons!  The ones out there today are just crap!  Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner are my faves......when I was little, my dad would watch the RR with us when he was on leave from the ship....he loves Wile E. even today.

I love Forensic Files, First 48, Cops, anything like that. I am to the point that I have a hard time finding episodes I have not seen.

House reruns, Married with Children still cracks me up, and the old Match Game.

My fav is 6 am on Saturdays on Cartoon Network though. Old Tom & Jerry, a lil bit of porch with coffee, man......these are the good old days.

ETA some new show where Larry the cable guy travels and does stuff. The last one was him learning manners from the family of Emily Post. Funny shit.

i kinda have to agree with DomKen -- the original BBC version of Being Human is pretty snazzy.

i actually have been watching American Idol, and i freely admit that, as much as it may shame me. haha =p there are some really good voices this time! And Steven Tyler is actually a pretty good judge! hahaha

i like first 48, cold case file shows, law & order (original & criminal intent but ONLY with vincent d'onofrio =p haha)
aaaaand... sponge bob square pants. and ni-hao kailan.
i actually like a lot of kids shows =p but i don't watch much TV because there are actually very few things that i watch, some of which (like Nat Geo and the snazzy Discovery subsidiaries) aren't on my new cheap cable plan that is STILL too expensive for my tastes, so i'm probably going to cancel it very soon.
(i did catch the tail end of the walking dead marathon last night; can't wait for a new season of that.)

Swamp Loggers. I really don't watch much television and don't ask me why but I am drawn to that show like a moth to a flame.

lol...Master was "forced" to watch it with me and my daughter one night, and a marathon night no less. The poor guy is probably ruined for life now.

My guilty pleasures are:

Law and Order CI (yes, the repeats, too), America's Next Top Model, So You Think You Can Dance, and back when we had cable, Clean House.

I admit to recently starting to watch Sons of Guns and Swamp People.  Those two show make me home sick.

The old guy and his sons down around Morgan City are about 30 minutes from where I grew up.  I've hunted, fished, and trapped those same waters.  I understand the title but to me those aren't swamp people they're just trappers and fishermen.  I can take you places back in the swamp where people live.
