actually wondering, if anyone actually has made real in-person friends off this site....what good is hooking up if no one really hooks up...??? Just wondering.

For a hook up try craigslist. The hook ups here tend to have actual hooks involved.

I have made some wonderful friends from this site. I wouldn't call them "hook ups" as their friendship is much more than casual sex. I don't do casual sex. If you have come to this site because you have this idea that kinky people fuck anyone and everyone then you are probably going to be disappointed. Kinky people don't jump into bed with strangers in any greater numbers than the regular population of people.

yup, met plenty of people from this site, and looking forward to meeting a few more if I can just save enough for the air fare

Oh, and I met Master here too.

Like some others mentioned, I don't do casual sex either. There are other sites that cater for that - this one...not so much.

I have people on this site that are good friends for some time but we've never met in person. There are men I've met for dates, some just once, some for more. I am in a 2 year relationship with a man I met here that looks to be going strong, I wear his collar. From what I can tell, there are quite a few people on here that have similar experiences. I truly believe that you get back what you put into it, good luck in your search

Welcome to the boards. You have to be more specific, are you looking for a hook up or to make actual friends? I've made a number of friends on this site through this side of CM. Have I met them in person? No, geography and funds makes it tough for me to be travelling all over the U.S. Do I plan on meeting them someday? Of course, we've become close even if it's with emails, or whatever other method. I've even *gasp* spoken to a few in person on the telephone.
