OK! So, Hi everyone! The first thing to say is I am very new to all of this. My whole life I knew I wanted to explore the sub side of myself, but I have always found myself in vanilla relationships... and honestly, maybe I'm a bit shy, but I've never been able to be honest with the world at large and find something that is truly fulfilling to me. But now, I have (unfortunately) come to an end of a long term (vanilla) relationship, and although I am experiencing the typical symptoms... loneliness... frustration... I also have hopefulness that I can find someone that will finally be able to understand a part of myself that i've been very scared to admit not only to myself but to others. OK... that said... ALAS...9 out of every 10 girls here is looking for "financial tribute" Um.. wtf? Is this a normal thing in this community? I feel like yes.. OK.... I am submissive, but I am not a loser or a moron... I am not going to PAY you... So what does that mean? Do I just not "get" this community? Is this normal? I am looking for a fulfilling relationship where my needs (hopefully) matches up with your needs. I guess to be honest, I feel defeated.... Finally I thought OK, I'm going to be brave and try to meet someone, but this just seems like, all the "dom" girls here just seem to want to take advantage of "loser" men by having them buy stuff on their amazon wishlist. Is that all thats really going on here? Oh well...

Welcome to CM. Your best way to meet a non pro domme that's local to you, is to check out the local munches in your area. Otherwise, patience, grasshopper... there are also a lot of lovely dominant women right here on the boards. There's the "Ask a Mistress" forum, for instance. But a work of caution- there's a thread or two a week regarding tribute sessions/pro dommes, etc. Just a suggestion- when looking for a dominant woman, don't look specifically for the "porn star 20 somethings". Hello, and welcome! I know it may seem daunting at first. Coming to the forums and introducing yourself is a definite plus, because the "other side" ( the profiles only part of CM) only gives you a partial glimpse into who people are. Besides, the forums are a good place to ask questions, and meet people. The best way to meet people, however, is venturing out into the community, as has been mentioned already. In MA there are some good groups, and in Western MA there's an affiliation with Northern CT. Have patience, and most important- have fun!

Welcome to CM and the boards. Yegads, you've been here one day and you're going on about tribute Dommes? It takes time and patience to meet the right female. You have to build on communication, see if there's a spark, possibly meet if things progress that far. There's no guarantees in life, especially when it comes to relationships. Having just come out of one, take your time, trust your gut instinct and get out there and meet people as has been suggested. Make friends first, possible connections and see where you go from there.
