The part that gets me is The village Muslims blamed the Christians.. No Christian is reported to have killed anyone.
Lets make up a reason to kill some Copts

I believe the same thing has happened through history, the Christians doing similar to the Jews.

Where does it all end and will there be a world left worth living on when it is all finished.

Is that an attempt on your part to excuse the violence Muslim extremists commit, or to white wash their modern day crimes?

Someone else did something similar once, so that makes this alright?

What the fuck does that have to do with anything? This shit will surely never end if every time it is criticized somebody steps up to whine about how, well, you know, the one group did the same thing to another group way back when.

Long before there were any Christians around, the Hebrews went off the fucking rails wreaking genocide on the Canaanites in what we now fondly remember as God "giving" them the land. Shall we wring our hands, observe sadly that their brother semites now appear to prefer the shoe on the other foot, and oh woe is me when will it end?

How about we just support criticism of this kind of behavior no matter who is doing it?

And ferchrissake (if you'll excuse the expression) both you and truckin need to take note that the operative word in the foregoing sentence is "behavior" -- not "Muslims" or "Christians" or "Jews," or by extension Islam or Christianity or Judaism.

Unless you both enjoy being part of the problem, of course.

The violence and hate is revolting and repulsive. While I am so far from being a defender of any faith it's not funny, I am still puzzled as to why the OP has been constructed in the way it has.

Is it being alleged that systematic violence towards other sects is a feature of all religions? Or perhaps, of the Muslim faith in particular? Or perhaps the Egyptian variety of Islam? Or is this just a lazy, cheap way of inciting hate towards all Muslims?
