Hi I have read 17 of Mr. Norman's books but know little of the Gorean community that has grown from them here on the net. Are the rules I've heard of just like those in the books? Do the members do Gorean 24/7? In public? I don't see how the punishments could possibly be as harsh as in the books unless they are sometimes burying their slaves. I personally thought Priest Kings of Gor was the best one.

I am Gorean rl, and yes there are Gorean communities both on and offline. There are also 'commune' like places that live the Gorean lifestyle to a larger degree than can be done in the general community.
Regarding 'rules'. In my experience, rules are not generalized across the community and each master will set what he sees fit for his slave(s) and FC. Punishments harsh...well of course some of the punishments in the books are unrealistic on earth. You can't just go around killing or hamstringing someone for not being pleasing or for wanting to leave. It is still a consenual slavery. I think maybe a better word would be 'strict'. Goreans can be very strict with their slaves, but also very loving. Some people seem to get fixated on the idea of a slave being 'property', but consider how you would care for a '65 Corvette if you owned one (hope they actually made 'vettes in '65..lol). You would cherish it and protect it and never want it damaged. A Gorean slave is treated much the same way.
As far as favourite books, I have to totally disagree with you on your selection. I found Priest-Kings my least favourite. I enjoyed Players, Beasts, Blood Brothers, Savages a lot more.

Greetings Nvernilla,

This girl is a Gorean 24/7 RT slave. This girl would have to agree with bena's statement that Gorean's for the most part are very strict. This girl's Master is possessive and protective of her.
Master has very strict rules for certain behaviors or settings, and trust the fact that this girl knows and hates more than anything the knowledge of disappointing Him, the punishment is hard... but the disappointment brings more feelings to surface than this girl has words to discribe.

This girl can not say that any of the Norman books are her favorites, as with the Beauty series, this girl found her attention hard to hold. It took stormi almost 2 months to read book 4 which was required for clarification on something Master wanted stormi to know. <smiling and giggling> stormi tried to explain that reading it was a form of torture .... Master enjoyed that torture very much.

Hey bena,

LOL..... thankfully that won't happen.

Master says " those are relatively stupid movies"

We actually flipped on one the other night, Master
was quick to change the channel. He did not like it
at all.

BTW, not that we are there much these days, but
Master has a html chat "camp" on Magnachat.
Camp Harigga it is listed under Gorean right below the
