I agree with the Stevie Ray Vaughan, but rather 'Roughest Place in Town' with Double Trouble: the pauses before the attack make the music . . . just like with real humans!

And for cooling down afterwards: Bach's Cello Suite in G-major, but by Jian Wang, not Yoyo Ma.

I neglected to include classical music in my original post. It is definitely nice in the right atmosphere. I've always held a special affinity for Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings.

I also use a piece for strings recorded in the large chamber of the great pyramid.. Other unusual pieces I use are natural.. A gale howling down the English channel, A violent electrical storm in the Kimberley region of western Australia, Wolves howling and malamutes singing.. All have their place. the latter two are excellent to blend a slave screaming..

Oh he makes it howl and groan. So haunting and melodic. And the peaks... they're like ripples that lead to one gigantic pop! And then the floating starts and you sigh. Slightly out of breath and hungering for another helping. It's rather orgasmic.
