i am a bdsm newbie. i have looked on this site and similar ones for a domme to meet but to no avail. i am considering booking a session with a pro domme and would like to ask what peoples opinion of this as a first experience is?

Random thoughts on this topic:

I think it very much depends on what you are looking for.

Are you a virgin?  If you hadn't met a willing woman, would you have gone to a pro?  If you had, do you see how it might have changed the whole experience (or if you did, did it work for you?)?

A pro is not going to love you, but she will know what she is doing...

There was a thread on here about a woman who was going to relieve a young man of his own personal flower...maybe if you are pathetic enough, some one will throw you a pity beating.

As Taggard said, it depends on what you're looking for.
If you're looking to pay someone to let you experience a certain aspect of the lifestyle (i.e. the feeling of a flogger, the humiliation of licking someone's shoes, etc...) than going to a Pro-Domme is probably a good way to accomplish that goal.
If you're looking for a D/s relationship, or monogamy, being loved, or finding that special someone, going to a Pro-Domme is probably a very poor route to take to get to that goal.

I do diasagree with Taggard that she'll necessarilly know what she's doing. All it takes for someone to be a Pro-Domme nowdays is calling oneself a Pro, owning a toy or two, and finding clients. You would be wise to do some checking in on the one you potentially choose. Get references. View their website thoroughly. Ask how they were trained in their profession. Under whom? Find out how long they've been in practice.

You compared looking on this site and others for a Domme to meet with going to a Pro. Those are (or at least can be) totally different aspects of this lifestyle. My advice would be to first identify specifically what you are after, what's your goal, what do you want to accomplish,
then choose the path that will get you there.

You are totally and completely correct.  I guess when I think of a pro domme, I think of the ones I personally know, who are all masters of their craft, but I imagine that they are not representitive.

Do your homework...

i am more intrested in the physical side rather than the mental connection at this point. i want to experience being restrained and spanked etc

From your post here (made nearly a half an hour before this one), it appears you've already made up your mind on this issue.  Don't go into it with any expectations other than having a new experience and have a good time.
