Brain -> Obama Misery Index hits a record high (3/9/2011 1:28:02 PM)

After reading what Mr. Romney had to say it looks as though we will get more of the same old Republican policies if he gets elected president. And regardless who the Republican candidate for the presidency is I would expect Republican candidates to have similar policies.

I disagree with Romney’s comment Obama should have focused on jobs instead of health care. Health care was consuming an increasing portion of the American economy costing more than other countries and delivering inferior results.

Mitt Romney said, “I hope we don’t have to wait two years for a new president to fix things, but I fear we might. What the occupant of the Oval Office needs to do, and do now, is focus on getting Americans back to work.” If the focus should be on getting Americans back to work why doesn’t the Republican House pass a jobs bill but instead they are pandering to their base with nonsense about abortion and family planning.
In short, if the focus should be jobs, jobs will never be created if people vote Republican.

Where should we go from here? Having spent my career in the private sector, I know a thing or two about how jobs are created and how they are lost. The most important lesson I learned is that there are three rules of every successful turnaround: focus, focus, and focus. Turnarounds work when the leader focuses on what’s most important. President Obama did just the opposite: he delegated the jobs crisis to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and he went to work on his own priorities, like cap and trade and government-run health care.

This is the second time youve bemoaned the Republicans not passing a "jobs bill". Read my lips: THERE IS NO SUCH FUCKING THING AS A JOBS BILL.

Id take Cheney at this point. Hell, Id take Reagan at this point...in his current condition. At least he'd do less damage.

KenDckey -> RE: Obama Misery Index hits a record high (3/9/2011 5:01:00 PM)

I'd say lets bring back Carter.     Then we can make nut jokes   lol

When Carter was President, we had an exercise with a peanut supply point at the elephant cage at the zoo.   lol

You better be sure that everything is recorded or televised, because from the written word you would never know it was Carter and not Obama.

KenDckey -> RE: Obama Misery Index hits a record high (3/9/2011 5:09:32 PM)

I was overseas the entire time Carter was in Office.   LOL  I have no clue what went on.   All we got was military propaganda (American, Russian, and East German)   lol

You might want to look at hisotrical unemployment statistics on the real basis, ie including the "disenchanted", before you make such asinine statements.

LOL, it's not that Obama is "deliberately" doing damage it's that he's so incompetant that he seems *lost* in the job.
He's a lawyer not a manager. It's like he's trying to micro manage things instead of taking a step back and looking for the big picture.
That's why Governors usually do well in the W.H. and people can relate to them better Carter being the exception.
Can you imagine if John Kerry became president?
It's painfully obvious that Obama is overwhelmed.
And with so many people out of work and no prospects for the future Obama had better get us out of those lousy free-trade deals and get manufacturing back in this country or he won't be asked to serve a second term.
"It's the *ECONOMY* stupid!"
