I am often asked on the other side what i like other than rough sex - it got me thinking about it so i wrote this yeah i like other things - i like dancing, i like going to the movies, love tobogganing, like skating. and i like drinking beer. I like a lot of ethnic food - chinese (obviously), indian, thai, vietnamese. i also like steak and eggs for breakfast (no - not every day - as a treat at a restaurant). i like the TV shows house & big bang theory. i like jeopardy, playing cards (bridge). i like waking up next to a girl (doesnt matter which one - its just nice to wake up and there be a girl next to you). i like to play chess (though i suck at it). i like really hot showers and conversely i like being sweaty. i like shopping (especially for panties - i love panties). i like giving back rubs more than i like getting them - but i still like getting them - i love getting a foot massage i like my smokes - i am in no hurry to quit - i like spaghetti, roast beef sandwichs, black forest cake & bumbleberry pie. i like cola (coke, not pepsi) & dr pepper. i like listening to music. i like spending the day in my pyjamas. i like going fast in a car, i like bicycling & rollerblading. i like thunderstorms and kissing in the rain. i like the way my grannie smells (baby powder & liniment). i like cats. i also like snakes - but dont own one. i like platform sneakers. i like beards on men (it makes them look male - clean shaven men look like ugly women). i like red pubic hair on an esthetic level (dont like any other type). i like reading, chilling with friends, chick flicks and social documentaries. i like newspapers - like the way they feel and smell, i like grapefruits. i like making witty smartmouth remarks (and yes i do think im funny). i like the way snow squeaks under your boots sometimes. i like the smell of coffee brewing in the morning (reminds me of my childhood), i like cheap plastic jewelry i like mt fuji (prettiest mountain in the world), i like hong kong (been there 2 times), i like japanese paintings and going to teeny obscure art galleries. i like talking (in case you hadnt noticed) - i like incandescent lights - not fluorescent, i like the way moisture beads on a window. i like western movies (the only purely american art form). i like being the smartest in my class. i like wearing a bikini. i like having the remote control, i like russel peters comedy. i like wearing a butt plug when i am out and about (its not sexual really - i like the way it makes you feel full), i like putting tampons in (but not taking them out). i like the smell of old spice. i like black roses and little white dresses. i am embarrassed to admit i like hello kitty stuff. i like sailor moon (actually i like sailor jupiter the best). i like picking the little crusty things out of the corner of your eye when you wake up. i like my little sister emily - shes perfect (i dont like my brother albert - hes a homophobic jerk), i like the smell of smoke from a chimney drifting on a quiet still winter night, i like general taos chicken. i like lychees, i like lacrosse but dont understand it, i like having my hair brushed, i like digging around my toenails with a nail file, i like the two towers best, i like emma watson and meagan foxes ass (the rest of her is too scrawny). i like pirates of the caribbean 1 & 2 (3 is just too weird). i like snowball fights, i like pictures of horses (but they frighten me in real life). i like tomb raider movies, i like the smell of damp leather. Thats not a comprehensive list - but its a good star so what do you like?

So does that work? When you respond with that, do they stop asking you about your fetishes? I don't ride, my oldest does. I really like feeding all her horses peppermints. They've always come to regard me with true love, at least till the treats run out. I like the way they knew where in my purse the treats were and would try to open it to get to them. I figure I'm practicing to be a grandma, learning to spoil them and then handing them back.

you shouldn't be embarrassed to like hello kitty stuff. ooooooor i'll be embarrassed with you. ^_^ same goes for sailor moon you have a lot of great likes. ^_^ i like wearing frilly skirts while picking up snakes. making series of parallel footprints in a snowbank. floating in pools because i'm a terrible swimmer. i like painting, and writing, and looking at stars, i like sitting up late at night and chatting with the moon. i adore horses, too -- particularly gypsy horses (google them!!!!!!) and all sorts of animals; dogs, cats, birds, pet rats, wild rats for that matter, dolphins, manatees, elephants, etc etc -- my favorite dinosaur is and has always been parasaurolophus. i like metal shows, and muscle cars, i like stationery, kabuki brushes, and mineral foundation. i like belly dance, crayons, coloring books. i like falling asleep during thunderstorms, i like being outside during thunderstorms. i love the way a train sounds in the distance, and bullfrogs croaking in a pond. i like big family get togethers, and sitting in a room by myself. i like yardwork, and housework, and hands-on dirty work. i like scrap metal, and swap meets. i like big mean harleys and snappy little vespas. i like people who like people, i like people who dont like people. i like facial hair on men, and long hair, too -- though i'd never cross a guy off for lack of it. i like cuddling with babies, i like standing in the shower and letting water run everywhere, i like barbecues, and sweet corn, especially when you've just gone to your friend's farm and picked it yourself. i like rural life. i miss it.

every single time I'm asked on the other side "what do you like" and I answer with everyday mundane, non-bdsm things, they tend to ignore my answer and ask again but more specifically..."no, what bdsm things do you like?", I answer "I like the things my Master does for/to me". At which point they seem to completely miss that answer and come back with "kewl. Wanna get together sometime?". At that point I just delete their email without a response in return.
