My new granddaughter doesn't notice the shaking, but my daughter-in-law is a wreck. She is from the Philapines and has never experienced a quake this hard. I told my son if he is worried he can send them both to the states to stay with me until he transfers over next year.
My son was on the ship when the quake occured. He said it felt like they were out at sea.
Our administration is telling Germans to get out of Japan if the can. Getting your granddaughter and daughter in law out sounds like a good plan to me.
