An update..... I was grumbling about the dishes as I was preparing the boys' supper, and my daughter told me to leave them..she'd do them tomorrow. I love my daughter...is there any wonder why she's the apple of her daddy's eye. and #2...the lamb was first rate!

You have three kids? Teach the older two to help out. Instead of you doing the dishes for her each time, teach the kids to do it. Especially with your youngest being so sick, it's past time for the older ones to take on some of the load. I've been sick for weeks, my oldest came back from college for spring break and got stuck cooking and shopping. Her brother does the dishes. They don't put the glasses back in the cabinet where I like them, but that's minor.

I live by myself and don't do my own damn dishes. And I'm the dishwasher, there's no room for one in my kitchenette. So I have no one to blame but myself. Damn but I hate doing dishes. [8D]

When a relationship ends, many men no longer take time for their children. Ever so many more don't even support them financially. This is not even touching on how despicably some ex's treat one another. For the depths to which you go .. to help ease the burdens of another persons life .. including maintaining normalcy in the lives of her children .. {which speaks of both your decency and character} .. I tip my hat to you. .. {then again, maybe you're just extremely polite. Like canadian snow.}

It's a little known fact that I never wear clothes when I'm at home. Except for the days when I have a chill, and those are rare. Well, ok, my feet get cold and you may have to look at warm, fuzzy socks but that's about it. [;)]
