in the instance of the above, either say thanks but no thanks and have no further contact with them. or just delete and don't say anything.

you could always list the things you want in your profile/adverts and then state that anyone who doesn't fit what you want will not be answered.

lastly, remember this thread when you are a long standing member somewhere and remember how it felt to have the other posts in it. then when you see someone else posting in the same way remember to be polite and answer in a constructive way.

SlaveGW, trying to train complete strangers online to have better manners is like trying to piss on a Chicago fire.  You can enjoy playing mind games with them if it amuses you and helps pass the time of day.  

All of us get mail from wankers.  It will never stop unless you hide your profile, lol.  Part of the search feature includes finding those who joined more recently...and are not yet used to the deluge of wankers.  After a while it will be old hat to scan the letter by hovering your mouse over it and just deleting it unread if it's an "on your knees, bitch" or something otherwise that you both find offensive.  If you block them, they cannot write you again under that username.  

As well as being fresh meat, both of you are 18.  Your youth alone will be a siren song. 

As for the "have I done all these things for nothing?" part, no and yes.  Your profile says you want friends as well as looking for other partners to play with but only if they have pix and aren't old folks like I am.  People who actually take the time to read your profile will likely respect your wishes and not say hello privately, even to contact you both for something from the message boards.  If this is what you wanted, then your profile serves it's purpose.  The majority of letters you are likely to receive will come from people who never read profiles or journal entries.  So any requirements you post...will be a waste of time.

Mail is a mixed blessing.

If you spend an hour reading profiles and journals of females you would see a lot of them with complaints like your own.  After a while, these profiles all sound alike...lost in negative spewing.  My advice would be to target the audience you want to attract...in a positive way, and to stop focusing on trying to teach wankers good manners.
