Status: offline 		I just checked back on my emails when summer was in heat and it seems thats 4 weeks ago now

which means, that her little belly she is carrying arround is not linked to food only

So I should expect around middle of april her next litter

Have to say I am really curious this time as she mated tomboys, ANYTHING is possible

Curry likes to lie on the left side next to my head. last night I witnessed how Urmel took over...first lieing next to curry, taking all the TLC he can get until curry has enough and tells him to f... off....following that urmel sniffed on currys balls following which curry had enough and walked off, Urmel happily taking over that spot

Way back when Zaphod was a little kitty, I lived out in the country. I had a friend staying over the weekend. Around 5 AM said friend is knocking on the bedroom door. His problem was that Zaphod, who had a seriously sadistic foot fetish and long sharp teeth, was biting his feet and wouldn't stop. So I picked up the cat, opened the door, put the cat out, closed the door. I turned to him and said "Think you can handle that yourself next time?"

I can't figure out how to compress my pic enough to load one, but my Viktor looks much like Kirata's, only Viktor is all white, with a blue eye and an amber eye.  He fits all the descriptions of a Maine Coon (personality, size, meow, and bushy tail) but there's no way to really confirm it.  I rescued him from a shelter - emaciated and covered with grease and fleas.  Now he's a big ol stinker of a fur-ball and loved dearly.

Oh, about pulling food out of the bowl and placing it on the floor?  Viktor does that, too.  I have a vinyl place mat under the bowl now, to save the carpet.  I hadn't thought of using plates!!

Apparently, cats don't like putting their head into anything where their whiskers come into contact with it.  They are "sensors" for the cat to know whether or not they will fit in someplace.  If their whiskers hit the side of the bowl, they'll pull back.....and start using their hands to eat.  I read this someplace and switched to plates, and they don't do it so much anymore.  Saves the mess on the floor.....

I've tried using placemats under the plates, but they still manage to move the plates off the mat and make a mess.  Personally, they do it on purpose......when KB doesn't approve of the offering, he will flip the bowl upside down and pull the mat OVER the plate.  KITTEHS!

OMG thats so awesome NuevaVida with the two different coloured eyes

mine also eat from flat plates I didn't start it due to the reasons mentione from soul, even when that are valid reasons, but as it is IMO easier to clean and with 5 cats its easier for them to eat all of them from it when it is served. Also, as mine are responsible eaters and dont overeat, I stopped to bother putting dry food onto a plate and just opened the big side of a dry food box with a knife, that way they can always access it and I have for a few days my peace to feed them unless I decide to give them additionally tinned food.

Back home my mum started to feed her cats at her balcony to keep the mess outside with them putting the food on the floor.

Squeaks' eyes are both blue.....just a tad darker than your kitteh's one eye, with darker blue streaks coming out from the pupil.  I can't seem to get a decent pic of them...they turn black in pics, or I get the red death glare lazer from the pupils.

Status: offline 		Phoenixpower:  I just love his eyes.  He reminded me of an australian shepherd mix I had when I was a kid.  My sister used to call him "Aussie Kitty".

NocturnalStalker:  YES!  I do want to nuzzle him all night!  And I do!!  He's a snuggler.  When I go to bed, he snuggles up until I start dozing off, then he leaves to go "monitor the apartment." I often wake up later from him snuggling back in for a bit before taking off again. He runs back in when the alarm goes off, to make sure I get up, but we snuggle more first.

soul2share:  Viktor is actually considered albino, even with the amber eye.  It's the lightness of the blue eye that distinguishes this.  I love blue eyed kitties - they're just beautiful to me.

I almost lost Viktor last year.  He ate a piece of star lily and ended up in ICU for 4 days.  Scared the crap out of me.  He had a great vet and it's amazing he pulled through.  So I am really really grateful for him!!  (and totally overprotective!)

Gwen has gotten visibly larger from this morning when I left for work, and a few minutes ago when I finally dragged my ass back home. I keep expecting to come home and find a litter of kittens on my bed ...
