I’d like to see a picture of her because she probably wasn’t worth it.

Revealed: Assange ‘rape’ accuser linked to notorious CIA operative

James D. Catlin, a lawyer who recently represented Assange, said the sex assault investigation into the WikiLeaks founder is based on claims he didn't use condoms during sex with two Swedish women.

Swedish prosecutors told AOL News last week that Assange was not wanted for rape as has been reported, but for something called "sex by surprise" or "unexpected sex."
"We have been warned that, for example, the Pentagon is planning on using dirty tricks to destroy our work," Assange told the Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet.

The WikiLeaks founder said he was told to be careful of "sex traps." Had Assange fallen for one of those traps? "Maybe. Maybe not," he said.

This is a little old but I’ve never read anywhere the charges are farcical.

Making a Mockery of the Real Crime of Rape
Assange Beseiged
By ISRAEL SHAMIR and PAUL BENNETT

In other words, the farcical rape charges have once again been leveled against the Pentagon’s Public Enemy Number One. Julian Assange now stands accused of: (1) not calling a young woman the day after he had enjoyed a night with her, (2) asking her to pay for his bus ticket, (3) having unsafe sex, and (4) participating in two brief affairs in the course of one week. These four minor charges, worthy of Leopold Bloom’s mock trial in the Nightown chapter in Ulysses, have been shaken and fermented until they were able to cook up a half-baked rape case! Step down Iran; Sweden takes the cake! While Iran is notorious for unyielding conservative sentences against adulterers, Sweden shows us what the liberal side of the coin looks like as she invents criminal charges for failing to telephone and for careless use of preservatives in consensual acts of affection. Worse, they are purposely conflating consensual sex with rape for political purposes. In this, Sweden makes a mockery of the very real crime of violent rape.

Q: Why does Sweden want him extradited?

A: A Swedish prosecutor wants to question Assange about accusations made by two women that he violated them sexually during a brief stay in the Scandinavian country last year. One of them says he intentionally damaged a condom during sex and the other says he had sex with her while she was asleep. The latter could be considered rape under Swedish law. Assange denies wrongdoing.

Brain,

Do a little frigging research, reading and thinking on your own about the women making the charges.

If they are being "influenced" by the CIA, in a dark, notorious manner, then I'd be very surprised.

Blame the feminist inspired "rape laws" of Sweden, and the vindictive women that he went to bed with.

Gordian's knot solves this problem, not some conspiracy-minded, hardly effective and generally asinine belief that the CIA maintains two female deep-cover agents who would expose their "cover" for such flimsy affect.

You know I used to support Wikileaks, but these days I don't know.  In my opinion they have released 1 really big story, their other stuff was moderate to useless.  Assange's own team has turned on him and walked away from the project.  On RT they interviewed his right hand man and he explained at some point it became less about the information and more about the "James Bond bullshit".  That he has a vision of grandeur for himself and its more about celebrity status.

Now where as I don't ever take anyone's word for anything unless I totally agree and there's plenty of evidence supporting.  I really am left unimpressed by his releases and if he's as great as he thinks he is, then why has Anonymous surpassed Wikileaks in "bad guys taken down" in a lot, less time.  Wikileaks started in 2006 and Anonymous started activism in late 2008.  Maybe I have it all wrong, but you won't see me marching for his freedom.  Which is something coming from me if you've seen my other posts, lol.

Conspiracy or not, when the story broke about wikileaks, it just struck me as odd that these charges just came up, and from Sweden of all places, not a place one hears much about in the news. Now, it might just have been coincidence, or it might have been something more, but it was just an odd situation to me, a situation that causes me to wonder, but I am not going to lose any sleep over it

As to Assange and the accusers, I have no oppinion, as I tend not to follow the media.

But, in life, we can go around believing everyone is out to get us, or we can just ignore all the crap and get on with our lives as they are presented to us on a daily basis, as honestly, I am really wondering if all this information we are assaulted with, is really that good for us, I mean, no media interference, no internet, what could we do, h'mm, make the best of our lives as they are without thinking about stuff that really has no bearing on us at all.

ChiDS -> RE: Revealed: Assange rape accuser linked to notorious CIA operative (3/18/2011 6:06:12 PM)

But it DOES have bearing.  It effects us every day.  Look at the state of the world?  That's because while we have been livin it up through the centuries, all this shit has been goin on behind out backs.  They want you to think the way you do.  It makes things easier for them.  They want you to put faith in their authoritarian empire.  Can we really afford NOT to pay attention?  I personally, do not think so.

Since I know someones going to ask,  by "They"  I am referring to the banking cartel centralized around the Fed and World Bank. The people who, really, pull the political strings.

Where is the beef?   This big bad leak was supposed to be a bomb shell. I see nothing of the sort.

I want a refund!   STOMP.

But really- what have they disclosed that is S0000000000  secretive?

Aneirin -> RE: Revealed: Assange rape accuser linked to notorious CIA operative (3/18/2011 7:05:10 PM)

At one time in my life I was really up on all this stuff, but now I can't really be that bothered, as if it is something I cannot directly influence, then why bother, what's the point getting one's knickers in a twist about things beyond your control. Sure one can seek to educate others, but there exists one problem in that, and that problem is, are they listening, or are lights on but nobody's home, just more information in the sea of information. Perhaps it is we can't handle anything we have to think about anymore, we need to be told and even then if what it is we are being told is not presented with all the special effects and CGI, we have great difficulty in retaining that information, and acting on it.

But having said all that, personaly I see myself as a rebel, for I will not follow the Status Quo, I seek my own life with ideas and ideals that appeal to me, not what I am expected to adhere to. As what we are expected to adhere to, well the popular tv is a good example of that, just watch what the programming is, mindless pap, celebrities and money making chances at stardom and with that the education into the false belief that everyone is automaticaly good at entertainment, the hard work ethic largely ignored for that is what it all is, entertainment, we are being taught to disengage the thinking part of our brain and just follow the herd.

The only people that tend to listen to others education is those who can similarly be labelled, the outsiders in society, those that get called conspiracy theorists because the socitetal programming has not worked on them. Being labelled a nut is the next line of defence for those that don't want us to know.

I think anything is possible and a person should have an open mind until all the facts come out. I also know that condoms do break because it happened to me once and I don't know how a man could break it intentionally, I've never heard of somebody wanting to break it intentionally; usually men I would think would prefer not to impregnate women so it's not in the man's interest to break the condom intentionally.

It's easy brain. Just poke a few holes in it. You can even go right through the packaging so it's not noticeable. I have heard of both men and women doing it, but the only one I knew personally was a girl who thought a baby would fix her marriage. It didn't.

Nothing.

Maybe it was intended as a diversion from preparations for revolts in Muslim countries?
