You need a psychic to answer that question.

Have you talked about marriage between you, or are there any indications that are apparent that it could be the direction your moving? How does he feel about marriage?

...from what you know of him yourself, this will tell you if your relationship is moving towards marriage. All the things you mentioned above you dont have to be married to do, so who can tell...

I believe that's a question you should be asking him, not this board.

Sorry, I left my crystal ball in my other purse.

Surely thats a question best left to ask him.  Isn't it?

you can be married and still have a M/s relationship within the marriage.  Maybe it is a subject that you need to bring up with Him?  Try broaching the subject with something like; Are we going to need extra paperwork and lawyer fees to buy a house or not? In some states just the act of cohabitation means commonlaw marriage. So you need to find out how He is going to protect you.

Um.

Could you? I don't see why not, if it's something you both want. You'll just be laying a bit more stress on the 'obey' portion of that whole 'love, honor and obey' thing.

Will he? His status as an Owner gives no one here any special insight into whether or not he'll pop the question, I'm afraid. There are married D/s couples and unmarried D/s couples.

Could you marry? The answer to that is yes - will he ask, that is something completely different. He will, I assume, if he loves you enough to make that kind of commitment to you.

My wife and I are a very happy D/s couple.

Curious. . . why wouldn't he ask for ALL of you in marriage?

Just your hand?  Wouldn't that be like just collaring a foot?

Best,

LaMalinche

If he is your Master, your owner... will he not just simply take that from you?  Why would be ask you for it.. have you not already given that choice up to him??

Technically yes, but a lot of Ms and Ds couples retain the romantic trappings when deciding to commit to a marriage together.
