The Equinox arrived at 7:21pm EDT.

MasterG2kTR -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/20/2011 6:23:38 PM)

This might explain it then.....I found out today that I have this stuff in my backyard called....grass....it's kinda brown and green....it really disrupts the monochrome white that I have been so used to seeing

Aileen1968 -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/20/2011 6:25:44 PM)

There's something about the first day of spring that always puts me in the mood to be fisted.

Termyn8or -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/20/2011 8:09:47 PM)

You should have someone handy. ( another pun ? I just can't stop )

Spring time means mate time.

Termyn8or -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 2:01:55 AM)

LaTigresse -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 4:17:40 AM)

Here it means mud, the migratory birds return and sing to me, the lambs, goats, calves......all are being born and showing off for me, the horses and dogs are shedding copiously, I can sleep with the windows open again!!!! I can spend time outdoors without being layered like an eskimo. I have a birthday. I go hiking a lot more.

I love love LOVE spring!!!!!!!!!

GreedyTop -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 4:43:24 AM)

Spring arrived here a couple of weeks ago.. I can tell by the copious amounts of yellow pollen that has been giving me issues..

Marc2b -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 6:48:35 AM)

Spring means to me all of the things it means to most people: opening the windows to let warm breezes in, budding flowers and trees, bird song... Don't get me wrong, all of that is great... invigorating. But what spring most means to me is that it won't be long before me and the gal pal can head to the family cabin and get down to some serious doggie style fucking in the middle of the woods, at midnight, by the light of a camp fire (after the naked little slut has served me my dinner and danced for my pleasure). It doesn't get any more primal than that! I've got half a woody just thinking about it.

DarkSteven -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 7:11:08 AM)

I washed my car Saturday, planted some bulbs, and turned the sprinklers back on. [:)]

GreedyTop -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 7:26:35 AM)

oh, is it time for bulb planting? I was thinking it might be nice to have some tulips around here...

LaTigresse -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 7:29:06 AM)

I dunno. We always plant bulbs in the fall. Unless he is talking a different type of bulb than I am...

GreedyTop -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 7:32:04 AM)

maybe it's a regional thing?  but you're kinda sorta in the same climate region... *shrug*

How are the various furbabies?

(give Mo an apple for me)

LaTigresse -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 8:01:10 AM)

The fur babies are gggrrrrrrrrrrreat! Maj and Mo are shedding like crazy and getting spring fever. Yesterday they were alternately running around, bucking and rearing........then stretched out, napping in the sun.

The dogs are also shedding, especially Nala and Sophie. Nala I could knit sweaters for everyone here (if I knit) from her shed.

Quigley is venturing out into the great outdoors again. Coming out of hibernation and hopefully losing some of his gut. That cat is such a weird creature...

GreedyTop -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 8:05:14 AM)

so.. a typical Spring at the LaT homestead :) *grins*

scritchies all around!  Glad theyre all doing the Spring happy thing!

(I totally get the shedding bit.. I am quite often saying "DAMMIT.. oh wait.. youre not a cat.. you're a dust bunny in waiting!!"

servantforuse -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 8:06:19 AM)

Sure doesn't seem like it here in my part of Wis. Yesterday temps in the low 30's, an all day rain and a hail storm thrown in for good measure..

sunshinemiss -> RE: Spring has Sprung (3/21/2011 8:11:17 AM)

<<<< wants to visit the LaT farm....

So... let's see. Oh yes. I went and found 3 important places: Ikea, a quilt store, and the nursery in the country. Plants are way expensive in the city.

YAY! Furniture! Bedding! Plants! Now... for a CAT!
