The research Ive done shows otherwise. I am way to lazy to reread all of those medical journals Ive looked at over the years to cite the many different studies on HIV / AIDS. The much more important conversation is make sure your partner is STD free before you take it "anywhere"

I have found that using lube makes things just a little too slick down there which makes the cock go in

I am not calling anyone right or wrong, just telling what I know about the anal/hiv link.

I have an old, dear friend, we were in the Army together decades ago and the friendship stuck all this time.

She has been HIV + for about 9 years now. Doing great, takes the meds. HIV really is a treatable disease in so many ways nowadays. Her doctor expects her to live a "normal" lifespan.

She was in a monogamous relationship of nearly 10 years, when she got a call after she donated blood....kaboom. Life changed forever. Thanks to one dumbass dude.

Anal does carry higher risk of infection, due to the factors mentioned, it's possible to be infected from oral, but the mouth and digestive tract is an an extremely hostile environment to anything organic, it's sole purpose is to destroy and digest foreign substances and objects - to a lesser extent, the vagina is also adapted to dealing with foreign objects (the penis) - bottom line is, HIV has to cross into the bloodstream, the only natural lube in the colon is plasma, it's not a mucous membrane, and the skin is very thin, part of what makes it a more intense feeling for some, there are a lot of nerves and they're very close to the surface, but it also means it's more susceptible to tears and abrasion under rough use.

But yes, the virus has to be present in order for infection to occur, i.e., in a private arrangement, knowing the risk factors of your partner/s, the risk is nil.

The high rate of HIV transmission among gays historically, has as much if not more to do with intervenous drug use as anything - prostitution being a common way for drug addicts to support their habit, the combination is naturally going to increase ones risk profile dramatically, it's also thought that the sheer stress of being homosexual in an intolerant society also incentivizes the use of drugs and alcohol, all of which is likely to affect judgment and increase risks for everybody, across the board by concurrently incentivizing deception.

I have a love/hate thing with lube free anal (spit is sort of lube, but I don't always get that option, either). Hurts like a mother - all encompassing, throughout my body kind of pain, and then I make myself relax into it. I have experienced what luci mentions, in suitable enough quantity to make anal feel wonderful (after the initial OMFG moment). I prefer lubricant prior to his entry, but he prefers my screams, so that's what he gets.

There is a Art to this, isn't there? One must use lube for it to be enjoyable so you are not stuffing your cock in a too tight sandpaper dry tube thing but not too much lube so one must stretch her on entry, forcing the entry and reaming her open to make her scream, but in a very good way. Does that make sense?

Having been on the medical side of things, I can attest that anyone wearing that odor would be very difficult to be around. Particularly in spaces lacking ventilation. It can be rather nauseating if you're not accustomed to it.

I see posts about infections. The implication is the post assumes one is not using condoms for this? Hopefully one uses a fresh and likely lubed condom for anal sex/rape/pleasure/whatever and then removes it immediately while never going near the vagina with it. Othewise you are guaranteed a painful testicular infection from bacteria that enters through the penis and certain to give her a bacterial infection if you use the same condom on her there and no amount of Cranberry Juice will cure it and never mind HIV cause I assume you are doing this with a known partner.
