And now Obama wants to use $2 B of our money to drill off the coast of Brazil while he's closed many drill sites in the Gulf laying off thousands of our people.
Hopefully the congress will vote against that. And that was just on FOX News so it's probably all wrong.
MSNBC will probably say that Brazil wants to give us money to help them drill.

Yes, it is wrong, since drilling is open again.  Been in the NEWS (so I can see how you missed it).

popeye, you and fox news are on the misguided assumption that the US President has some say in the drilling industry.

The president cannot order drilling anywhere.

Furthermore, the only people who accompanied the president was his family.

Sorry but your whole op is a copy of one already in use on the subject of Obama's trip and your statement that he was accompanied by CEO's was wrong.

Nice try, we'll give you a C average.  An A for effort but F for facts as usual.

I do believe the US provided loan guarantees with the kicker being the money is to be spent on equipment from American Companies.

Found those  news sources on that "bakers dozen"?

If you don't take the time to look it up and post it then why should I?

It's not worth taking the time.

You made the claim, post the link.

Maybe poopey's fantasising that the Kenyan has collectivised the government and nationalised all domestic industries* as state assets again?

It is good for Obama to travel. He may face problems after leaving office. G.W. Bush for example canceled his European travel to avoid being arrested.

FR

This whole thing about whether business people went to Brazil on the same trip is a red herring, means nothing inherently evil if so, and otherwise pointless.

"But he's only going down there to give away American jobs!"  Stop him, stop him!

Good thing the US has big feet, as many of its own citizens keep blasting away at them with pronouncements such as this.

Brazil is currently the 8'th largest importer of US goods, and given their growth curve, than can only continue increasing for a long time to come. So our Prez is a traitor to his country for going down there and trying to facilitate things further in our interests then? Yep, traitor. Plain as day.

So given all this why the heck would any business people want to be there?  Here's one inside story on this evil scheme ...

http://www.guyanapress.com/archives/5453

In Brasília, President Obama and President Dilma Rousseff will be speaking at the U.S.-Brazil Business Summit, which will be attended by representatives of nearly 300 Brazilian and U.S. companies. The object of this meeting will be to stress the commercial agenda between the two countries. U.S. exports to Brazil have doubled over the past five years, which can be explained by Brazil’s increased spending ability, as it is now the world’s 7th largest economy. Yet, as the Brazilian economy has continued to grow, the U.S. is not the South American country’s only suitor for stronger trade and investment links. President Obama will voice his concerns over Brazil’s growing economic ties with China, which he views as an unfair competitor because of the Asian nation’s currency devaluation. Brazil, under the guidance of Dilma Rousseff, is also concerned about China’s devaluated currency and is more than likely to hear out Obama’s alarm over the issue. (all emphases mine)

Ha! Caught red-handed! Business people, it said it right there! And then Obama getting Brazil's Srta. President Rousseff on the US's side regarding China's currency manipulations!

Words cannot convey the outrage here. Traitor, giving away the whole American Pie to a bunch of Bossa Nova musicians.

Hanging would be far too kind.

But it wasn't in the Berkley Gazette or Pravda so it doesn't count.
Even when you give them the names.
Don't dispute the facts, attack the messenger. Saul Alinsky.
And now that Obama hasn't confered with and sought approval from the U.S. Congress on Libya but instead the ....."U.N." the red scarves will say that's o.k. too.
