But as to the whole fake scenario, I agree with Marc. And if someone stole my daughter's pics for this, I'd sue them.

Status: offline 		I'm really curious to see to what extent 4chan had to go to get these guys to meet in Times Square. I highly doubt this was pulled off at the level of Dateline: To Catch A Predator, with decoys and phone calls and Chris Hansen (with Dateline NBC).

Status: offline 		It's definitely mean spirited.  I think dangerous is a bit of a stretch.  I don't see it as a gay bashing opportunity, as it does say that fake female accounts are being created and specifically targeting men.  Now that it's been leaked, I highly doubt that the idea will be very successful.  (If you can call it that.)  Not as one big prank, anyway.

Do I think people would do it?  Yes, I do.  Not a lot of people, but enough to say take a look at just how cruel some folks can be.

The man's a great guitarist and has a rather sultry voice, but he needed Water's direction and lyrics. Pink Floyd lost it's soul after The Final Cut.

Status: offline 		I will confidently speculate that a majority of the pranksters--many of whom are undoubtedly lonely males themselves--would fall for the very same prank, if they were convinced the woman was real. What is being practiced here is something worse than mere cruelty; it's a kind of cruelty that will only work, if it does work, because the victims and many of the perpetrators share the same affliction.

But pity makes suffering contagious, so don't listen too closely to me. Be like NocturnalStalker if you want to be happy.
