http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Room_and_Bird
quote:

Two elderly ladies (one of which is Granny), the owners of Sylvester and Tweety, sneak their pets into a hotel where no pets are allowed. Sylvester, hearing Tweety's singing in the room next to his, writes a letter to the canary from his "Ardent Admirer". Tweety shortly discovers who his "admirer" is, and a chase ensues, which is cut short by the doorman, forcing Sylvester to disguise himself (as a lady in bed screaming for help from the policemen) causing the doorman to flee ("I, uh, I'm sorry, ma'am. I beg your pardon.").

Sylvester then sneaks into Tweety's room and tries to get him in his cage; this backfires and he is knocked out by the spring-loaded cage. Sylvester then phones Tweety that his owner has a surprise for him; Tweety goes downstairs to receive it, but instead goes down Sylvester's throat, returning with a mouse from the time of Thomas Jefferson, explaining he is dead. The chase then goes outside, and into the room of Hector (how he got in is unknown). Sylvester doesn't realize until after he's captured Tweety again that the dog is there. Another chase ensues, involving dog, cat and bird, which is also cut short by the doorman, forcing the three to form a truce long enough to disguise themselves (as an angry old lady with Tweety's head; "Sorry, ma'am, there's been a mistake."). The chase resumes again, prompting the frustrated doorman to finally make an announcement evicting all pets ("Attention, everyone! Someone has pets in this house and I want them out of here immediately!"). Unfortunately for him, a veritable zoo calls the hotel home, and comes stampeding over him.[/

Getting up, the doorman dizzily says Tweety's catch phrase, "I tawt I taw a putty tat!"
Tweety, popping out of hiding, replies "You did! You did! You taw a putty tat, a moo-moo cow, a big gorilla, a giddy-up horsey, and a wittle monkey!"

Lame, but it leaves howling laughing every time I see it. M

From "COPS"; "Manos Arreba! MANOS ARREBA!"

And another that John Walsh uses all too frequently on his show, "America's Most Wanted!"; "May be in Mexico."

Funniest line on TV: "Fox News: Fair and Balanced"

Okay, I had to go there, not meant to hate on Fox News (I actually do watch it to balance out liberal leaning news).

Anyway, since someone already broke the Star Trek cherry, I actually use a line from ST in my therapy practice, "feelings aren't positive and negative. They simply exist. It's what we do with those feelings that becomes good or bad." I'm all about people getting in touch with their anger and using it for positive gains.

And I couldn't let a quote referencing my three favorite words in Grey's Anatomy (dark and twisty) be left unsaid...

GEORGE: "You are dark and twisty inside, Meredith, and now Izzie is dark and twisty inside."

MEREDITH: "So all of a sudden I'm the president of people with crappy lives?"

“Damn right there’s a double standard! If an older man dates a younger woman, he’s a pig! If an older woman dates a younger man, she’s getting her groove back!” – Becker, title character

“If you’re watching a television show, and you get your values from that, you’re an idiot. Maybe you should take responsibility for what values your kids are getting. Maybe you shouldn’t let your kids watch certain shows in the first place, if you have such a big problem with them. Instead of blaming the shows themselves.” – Family Guy, Peter

“Technology is overrated.” – House, title character

“Hey! Assbutt!” – Supernatural, Castiel

“A great way to get a man’s attention is to show him how smart you are. But a faster way is to take your clothes off.” – That 70’s Show, Lorrie Foreman

“I think voting is cool. I just don’t see the point when you have to choose between a tird and a douche.” – South Park, Stan

“Everybody’s getting spanked but me.” – Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Willow (When she said that, I thought, “I know just how you feel. If you were ten years older, we could so take care of each other.”)

And a couple that aren’t single lines:

On Family Guy, after the cable television transmitter had been knocked out:
Tom Tucker: Diane, that last report was so good, you deserve a spanking.
Diane Simmons: Oh, Tom... I don't think your wife would like that.
Tom Tucker: My wife is a bitter old hag, she's in Quahog and cant hear a word we're saying.
(She’s bent over the desk and he has a paddle in his hand)
Director: Uh, guys, we're back on in Quahog.

On Supernatural:
Dean: Damn cops.
Sam: They were just doing their job.
Dean: No, they were doing our job, only they don't know it so they suck at it.

Here's a short speech by Stewie on Family Guy

Also, I made a mistake. The quote from That 70s Show was Samantha Hyde, not Lorrie Foreman.
