i want to start doing htis on a blog so every1 can see how much i serve him.  can some1 recommend a blog site where i can do this?  i want to be fairly explicit.   and do u think it is ok if i put in the first entry and present it as a present or s hould i discuss it first?

Blogspot. As for presenting it as a present for your present partner... well I don't know how your relationsip works so really only you and he would know.[sm=candles.gif]

The only issue I have with blogspot (and I expect you would as well) is the lack of spell checker. Obviously, you need one. The other thing you'd want to consider is that with blogspot, you need to sign in from an account. Then that account is linked to it. Be careful there. Privacy issues and such.

I don't know where you are or if language issues come up for you, but blogspot (and all of google in fact) utilize the language of your IP address, and you are not able to change the language. This means that you could end up with a blog for which you can't read the directions.

best,
sunshine

I don't think blogspot allows sexually explicit blogs, even it is is just for personal use.

You need a blog you can lock to outsiders, otherwise you would be drowning in porn spam.

I don't know of a free service that offers this feature, perhaps someone else will.

Best of luck, and I agree that spellcheck is your friend.

Greetings,

Wordpress is probably a better option and the setup is simple. When you create the blog choose private and make it non searchable by search engines. You can add him as a user/contributor if you want. That will allow him to make comments if desired and read your posts. The content isn't an issue if you wish to keep it private. However, should you have a change of heart and opt to go public you can make note of the content by categorizing it as a mature blog. Best of luck.

Namaste,

Years ago I found even here before there was a spell checker, it was good to use Word to write, cpe;ll check then C&P to the forum allowing you need to double space your paragraphs. these days I don't and won't have word or any of that MS crap on the computer having opted for open office which is working like a dream especially for blogging. It has an advantage in that I have the dictionaries and spell check set for Australian English which as we all know, differs from US English...

Never thought of using a blog as the OP has, prefer to have a hand written one done for me to read when i choose to. But having discovered the fun and value of blogging I may well change this .. I use blog's to drive web traffic to my sites and increase lists and sales .. Never used it socially but probably should ..

It's actually pretty useful. i journal and appreciate the efficiency of maintaining my writings in one place with the possibility of referencing older entries in the blink of an eye. This is particularly helpful if the individual presents their thoughts on a daily basis as i do. You get a really nice snapshot of what's going through their head and can ascertain a build up so to speak as the week unfolds. There's usually an underlying theme.

The amount of work involved is individual. Some elect to create a simple site with no accoutrement save their musings. I didn't go that route but my technical skills are a wee bit more in depth. And i have a penchant for nice aesthetics. None of that matters if it will remain private, but it is of consequence when one wishes to publicize these things. For what it's worth i find that many like the 'idea' of blogging but rarely realize the commitment it requires.

Namaste.

It does allow explicit blogs. I have one. You just have to tell blogspot when you set your blog up, so there is a sort of filter in place.

TY for this info, January. I either forgot they had a separate section or they changed their practices, in any case it is good to know.

feyfairy -> RE: blogs (3/29/2011 7:34:16 PM)

tumblr.com is kind of nice, it is minimal, but can post all sorts of media easily including long texts. It can be private, or password protected. You can reblog other content and it's easy to find anything, especially porn on there.

tumblr is what I use. I most post photos though.
