If there were laws against ugly shoes, Croc clogs would never have been allowed. Thank goodness they've started to make a few styles that look GOOD. The new spring line is actually translucent and makes me think of the "jelly" shoes that come into fad and back out every few years.

the jelly shoes always make me cringe too...LOL

I want footwear that is DURABLE!  (speaking of which, I am SERIOUSLY unhappy with the Avia's I just got about 3 months ago.. friggin things are already wearing out at ..seams?...)

Avia used to be my favorites:  fit well, I could wear them all day (I still can), but my first couple of pairs lasted at least 2 yrs (I am VICIOUS on footwear).

I'd like to see a model rock those shoes, personally. Especially because it'd be freaking hilarious to see a snooty model have to do an awkward duck-walk down a runway.

But, I agree, they're stupid and ugly. As are many shoe styles these days. These definitely take the cake though.
