Yall don't know me, so I need to give a bit of background. I started playing guitar about 30 years ago. On and off I played and learned. I am getting back into it, I have a couple of rifs going, almost songs, maybe 1½ minutes long. The second (newer) one, I think was inspired by a bird. This bird, or one of his ilk has been here since we bought this place in 1989. We live near the zoo, which has an open top area for certain species' of birds. This one keeps coming back. The song is the same. Of course over time some variations are produced, but he seems to sing in a certain key so to speak. I am creating a song on the guitar (Thelma)., and I am convinced that this birdsong I have heard for almost two decades has had an influence. Wait till you hear it. I will dig up the microphone and put out a WAV or MP3 file. Strangely, it is influenced by nature, and for some reason sounds better on an acoustic guitar. Go figure. I used to always like a fuzzed out axe to grind, the more effects the better, to a point. Now I prefer the sound of the actual strings, right there. So, the main question is, does anybody give enough of a fuck about this to reply ? Music inspired by a bird. T (PS, I don't mean to be full of myself but I have recieved many accolades on this tune, and right now it is only about a minute and a half long) T (PS, how much you think I should pay the bird ?) T
