Thanks! LMAO@:

"You make Charlie Sheen sound rational

They have windmills, they dont need oil

They are funny now that you mention it

Just like Morgan Freeman"

Even funnier that there are a couple of posters here who make her sound rational!

It's fucking pathetic how ignorant right wingers are about this issue.

We invaded Iraq without sufficient reason and based on lies and fears of terrorism. OTOH we are preventing the slaughter of Libyans by a ruthless dictator without bombing the countries civilian infrastructure and without turning the country over to a US company.

Right.... And Hussein didn't gas those Iraqis, either.

Wow.... I'm soooo illiterate.

Do you think Emory and UGA will give me my money back?!??

You must be and you should ask them.

Hussein gassed his civilians in the late 1980's. The US invaded more than 15 years later.

Funny how when it is a Republican president...who DID have congressional approval...did it, then it is wrong. Funny how we have NOT taken their oil wells. Funny how there IS no U.S. company that is "in charge/ownership" of Iraq. Funny how we were not possibly helping Al-Queda when we went into Iraq. Funny just how precise the U.S. Air Force pilots have suddenly gotten that there is NO collateral civilian damage, only Kha-daffy supporters. Funny how, despite Obama;s swearing to the "fact" that there were no Americans on the ground, it turns out that there WERE C.I.A. operatives on the ground.

you sound a great deal like the twit in the video...perhaps another reason why it is sooooooooooo funny.

The provision of chemical precursors from United States companies to Iraq was enabled by a Ronald Reagan administration policy that removed Iraq from the State Department's list of State Sponsors of Terrorism. Leaked portions of Iraq's "Full, Final and Complete" disclosure of the sources for its weapons programs shows that thiodiglycol, a substance needed to manufacture mustard gas, was among the chemical precursors provided to Iraq from US companies such as Alcolac International and Phillips. Both companies have since undergone reorganization and Phillips, once a subsidiary of Phillips Petroleum is now part of ConocoPhillips, an American oil and discount fossil fuel company, while Alcolac International has since dissolved and reformed as Alcolac Inc.[24]

Republican administrations do have such a unique intimate history with Saddam Hussein, don't they? No need to take my word for it of course - you can read all about how they cuddled up to each other, along with seeing a cute pic of Reagan's envoy, a certain Donald Rumsfeld (remember him?) shaking hands with none other than Saddam himself at this National Security Archive link:

Bush got Congress to ok invasion by lying his ass off. Haliburton has taken their oil, just look into where their revenue is going.

We definitely helped Al-Qaeda by invading Iraq or maybe you are trying to forget how the Bushites tried to argue that it was better that the terrorists were attacking our troops over there rather than trying to attack us here?

Funny how there have been no reports of US pilots intentionally bombing civilian infrastructure in Libya while the water and power are still off in most of Iraq due to US bombs almost 20 years after we destroyed those facilities and more than 7 years since we conquered the nation.

Funny how conservatives cannot understand not revealing covert operatives.

Uh....while we are enjoying maybe you can explain to me how Bush waged war in Iraq while having an appeasement policy toward Libya.

Backed Bush's wars but now condemns this war.  Check.

Hypocrite to a new extreme.  Check.

hmmm, I don't remember Sanity actually condemning the Libya War (and glad to see that you now acknowledge that it's a war, and not simply a "kinetic action" or a "no fly zone").

I think what he has been pointing out is that the same people who condemned Bush for similar actions, are not condemning Obama.  And, in fact, seek ways to justify and show how "the actions are different".

Which smacks of the real hypocrisy.

I suspect more people here on the left acknowledged this is a war, far faster than the right did in the case of Iraq.  I remember some 2 years after having discussions with posters still here that it was not a war, rather a police action or other various and sundry euphemisms.

Well, not saying that there might not be some poster who made that comment or argument, but I'm pretty comfortable saying that the majority of people - left, right or center - acknowledged the Iraq War as a war.

Perhaps you're confusing it with the Vietnam War?

I think it is thought of as war in the same way granada, panama, nicaragua and libya were characterized as wars in reagans time.
