My lovely gloriousangel had her first experience of a different kind of scene yesterday. She always performs ((big grin)) beautifully when she is being whipped, beaten, spanked (oh I could go on and on but I would get so distracted and never get the post written) .. she is so very responsive and although she is still learning she is amazingly willing to work hard to do things well.
but yesterday she spent the day at a large (100+ people) family party that my husband and I held, being a general dog's body, looking after me, following me around, making sure that my needs were always met. She performed this service with a constant and unfailing smile, and everyone asked "WHo is she?" and I explained she was a friend of ours there to help- and so many said "She sure is a loving friednd- she takes such good care of you"- "What a nice girl"... (I have a physical disability and need help getting some things done, so people know I often need assistance). She anticipated our needs (mine and my husband, her Master as well), and she spent time with our guests making them feel at home and welcome. She worked in the kitchen, she worked picking up.... she worked her beautiful bottom to the bone (well, luckily there is still plenty left there for us!!!). She did get a chance to eat and drink, but she put everyone else first, and did this with complete and total joy.
Never once did I need to look around and think "WHere is she?" She was always right were I needed her to be.
To have her "scene" in this way was a new thing for her, and she excelled. She was graceful, worked hard to please, and was a shining example of loving service. We felt so proud of her, I am still high from my happiness at how good and special her service made me feel.
We were too tired when we got home to have any real "other" play, so we just snuggled and fussed a bit, and then sadly had to send her home, but she never complained and never asked anything for herself. We did talk about how things went, and she never even realised how her actions were such beautiful service.I wonder how often subbies don't realise the how their behaviour, outside of a physcial "true" S&M scene, can make a Dom's heart sing.
I guess I just wanted to post and say how wonderful I felt when she worked so hard to do her best to serve no matter what that service is. Her grace, caring and willingness were such wonderful gifts to her Master and Miss yesterday. Dollface, I am so very, very proud of you.
It's easy to be a subbie when you are the one getting all the physcial stimulation and fuss, and when all the attention is focused on you- so much more difficult when you are expected to be part of the background and get none of the credit or attention for yourself, and when you have to work so very hard at work that really isnt very much fun. Not many subbies put "cleaning up a huge mess after a party" as one of their kinks.
Thank you, Dollface, not just for all your help, but for being so loving and so absolutely selfless... I am so proud of you.
