But the 'no' assumes that your definition of Master is as an owner; and the definition of a slave falls under the definition of property owned by the Master. It also assumes that the responsibility of the owned property and the Master of said property is focused on the relationship.
The relationship may include additional individuals ultimately serving the goals of the relationship, but there can be only one Master. In a household run by a couple or a group of Masters, the service may be to more than one person, but it's to the communal relationship that the slave ultimately serves. The Master in this case is the group under the dynamic agreed to by the group, for the purpose of goals of the group, each person working within their agreed upon duty and responsibility. Semantic and hair-splitting, but when more than one individual's set of rules is predominant over the other conflict will arise, and it sets the slave up for failure.
A submissive who serves various Masters having unique rules depending on who is being served that day ultimately is serving his/her self; enjoying the various sensations from a variety of sources. He/she does serve or provide service to more than one Master, but who is in charge? I'd take the position that the submissive is. Under my direction, and under my protection, beth has "served" others; but she was serving the relationship that we have as the foundation of any such service. I doubt very much if the choice was hers, she would have considered any of the experiences. Whether she would have or not, or wanted to or not, was not part of the consideration when I made the decision. she abdicated the right to make a choice.
I take it to an extreme. I don't believe it's possible for a slave to serve more than one "master" even if that "master" is in the guise of a employer. It's my definition and one I had in mind and communicated with those I met and considered during my search for a slave. My self evaluation resulted in determining; I'm selfish, possessive, and a tad self centered. I'm also very intolerant of excuses, even legitimate ones, that I have no control over. A slave with a job creates opportunities for situations that I have no control over, therefor my responsibility, if I wanted that level of control, was to eliminate the opportunity.
For example, later today I leave for Palm Spring on business. It's a quick overnight trip. beth will be joining me, and will there to serve as my slave. If she had another Master, a job, it would require permission, negotiation, perhaps debate, and could end in disappointment and conflict. beth has no other job, no other responsibility, no other Master - no conflict.
