If only I knew that my submissive feelings were ones not to be ashamed of.
If only I knew that after I finally mustered up the courage to discuss it with my wife, (after her initial shock), that she would get a gleam in her eye that I now adore seeing everyday.
If only I knew that my desire to be submissive would be perfectly matched to my wife's natural inclination to domination(which I saw the first moment I met her, though she was battling self-esteem issues).
If only I knew that being stripped naked by my wife and made to submit would be so fufilling.
If only I knew that after it started, I would feel emotions that were higher than any I had while simply contemplating this dynamic, emotions that send me into confusing head spaces: I actually enjoy any humiliation that my wife deems fit simply because I know it pleases her.
If only I knew that even after just being a beginner (just over a week, folks), we have both settled into this like the naturals I think we are (never forgetting that we ARE beginners, and have much to learn).

Thank you both for the kind words. Even though I know that this is my path, I am still nervous, and it helps to know that there are many many others who consider this very sane and very normal.

wow thats exactly how i feel everyday i sit and wait for the dom that opened the door. to this beautiful lifestyle he due to his reason beyond his control can't give me more attention it's quite upsetting at times so i try to busy my time by studying and writting in my journal but it doesn't work very well i want hands on training wat do i do that is safe ! also i have two kids so i cant get out much :(

I am beginning to appreciate what you describe. I, too, get anxious and feel a little lonely when she doesn't pay attention to me. I try different ways to distract myself, but then she'll come in the room, flash a wicked grin, and I am enthralled. Even if she leaves the room again, it's that little acknowledgement that makes all the difference. Frustrating, yes, but that is what my Goddess desires, so I am more than happy to be denied. One thing I have learned is perfectly expressed by your quote:
