Put me down with the fans of dance, though I understand some women feel silly doing it, it can be almost as good as sex, and much more physically demanding, if you're trying to stay in condition, also increases general body awareness - actually, be careful if you aren't used to it, like any athletic activity, there is a increased possibility of various types of stress injury, start slow and learn your body.

My slave was very self conscious and awkward the first time but one of the great things about a BDSM relationship is the... "encouragement..." [sm=sm.gif] you can offer. [:)]

It is a great form of exercise for her and a huge aphrodisiac for both of us (which leads to some good exercise for me as well [:)])

I appauld and second your notion of being careful and starting slow because of possible injuries. I should have thought to mention that myself. [&o] The name of the game, ultimately, is fun and pleasure.

Funny, I just ran across this, starts with a Hula.

This is an interesting post, Marc.

I get absolutely no pleasure from a relationship where the woman dutifully performs what I consider to be mundane tasks, such as cleaning and your like. As I've said before, two burrow owls can clean one another, and as human beings with certain advantages I have to be looking for something more in tune with my soul than a duster and a mop brandishing woman.

I receive energy from a woman who feeds my soul, and music, food and conversation are important factors in this.

And a woman who can dance?! That sort of femininity is worth its weight in gold. Always in my home - I like dancing, I like intimacy, and when the two are combined, well that's the good life - so the privacy of my home will do the trick.

MaxsBoy -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/8/2011 1:27:53 PM)

Funny how opinions differ.  The thought of beating a woman to force her to dance actually makes me feel a little sick.

Marc2b -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/8/2011 1:40:55 PM)

"Well blow me down..."

LMFAO!

Marc2b -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/8/2011 1:43:53 PM)

I like it all. Yes, I consider the spiuritual aspects of dance, lovemaking and even conversation the most important, I also love the mundane parts as well. I am a slob by nature so having a woman clean my home is great. Having a woman who is into clean my home while naked and in chains... man, that's just fucking awsome!

It is "forced" only in the context of the consenual relationship. The thought of actually beating and forcing a non-consenting woman into doing such things makes me sick as well. There is a strange duality to my psyche. On one side I have a very anti-authoritarian, pro rights for everybody, live and let live, outlook on life. But, lurking within me is the primitive who wants to snatch up a woman, strip her, bind her, throw her over my shoulder and carry her home to teach her proper docility and obedience with my whip (I'm not an anti-authoritarian when I'm the authority [;)]). I reconcile the two by drawing a clear distinction between fantasy and reality. I live the latter while indulging in the former when circumstances allow.

Ah well, I'm a tidy person by nature: particular, independent, maticulous. But, no amount of personal drive and sense of order can compensate for what I've stated above.

100% agreed Marc, other than I would have said "latter" rather than "later". Damn typos! :p

Marc2b -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/8/2011 2:00:10 PM)

Ahh, the weekend beckons. Were actually going to the cabin tonight to open it up tommorow. Too cold at night for any outdoor slave dances but the place will need a good cleaning! Let's see, scrub brush? Check. Mop? Soap? Check, check. Collar? Check. whip? check! Chains? check. Looks like everything is in order. [:)]

Marc2b -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/8/2011 2:05:03 PM)

I still have the edit button! Woo-hoo! But that just means there is something else I missed.

Thanks, though.

That wasn't my point.  Obviously I have no problem with that kind of relationship.  Since, you know, I'm in one already and seeking another.  It's the fact that it's dance that she's being forced into - my feelings on the nature and purpose of dance are much different than how most people feel.  If that's what both of you like, have at it. [:D]  Just expressing my feelings on dancing, not on how you treat women.

If she dances naked outside in the cold then she will need to snuggle with someting warm.

Just sayin.

BurntKitty -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/8/2011 7:45:41 PM)

I absolutely love to dance. Indoors, that is. If I were dancing by firelight, the wind would shift, smoke would get in my eyes, and I'd likely trip into the flames. Campfires are good for toasting marshmallows. Hardwood floors are good for dancing. At least for me. (My stilettos sink into dirt, anyway.)

lovelyesme -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/9/2011 10:39:42 AM)

absolutely NOT to suggest you are wrong about  not dancing.  It just made me smile- my kiddos gave me a large magnet for the frig.  It reads:  "You pray in church.  I dance naked under the stars".

gothikbutterfly -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/9/2011 10:43:11 AM)

Dancing by firelight....only on high Holy Days. i am a pagan, and sometimes the nature of worship requires the act of dancing skyclad (naked) by firelight. Under any other circumstances i would have to say no thats a little weird, but otherwise i am all for it.

lovelyesme -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/9/2011 10:47:57 AM)

just want to mention-there are isolated cabins with huge stone fireplaces, fllush toilets, 800 count sheets, air conditioning, internet, gourmet equipped kitchen etc.  My favorite also has a hot tub outside.  So dancing, naked, on a deck at night, mid winter.....yum.  You might try it, Kana....

Kana -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/10/2011 5:52:40 AM)

Grins
Sorry. I am just sooooooooooooooooo not the sort of guy who is into outdoor dancing (unless its a Phish/Grateful Dead show and I got lawn seats-then we gonna boogie all night long).
Chalk it up to me being far more Appolonian than Dionysian in spirit.

It sounds like Jackson Hole. [;)]

And that's a second vote for comfort in perversion. i'm not the roughing it sort. :(

Namaste,

Kana -> RE: Dance, slave! (4/10/2011 7:56:20 AM)

Ooooooooooooooooooooh, Jackson Hole.
Kana goes all dreamy, gets that far away look, sees visions of luscious cliffs of snow to huck off of, summer mountain meadows carpeted with bluebells, Shooting the Mad River rapids in kayaks, this crazy California chick I once met at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.....

I might not dance naked in the snow, but I sure will do unspeakable things on the bearskin rug in front of the fire!
